Nurse arrested for murdering babies

Staff should go to employer first but if not actioned can go outside.

Yeah,

That was my interpretation of what I read last night.

The problem with the Letby case, is that when the doctors actually had the meeting with Tony Chambers (head honcho) he basically told them to stop, or there will be consequences, when the doctors wanted to get the police involved.

Threatening doctors because they suspect criminal activity and want to go to the police, to me is ridiculous - I can't see how there isn't some sort of culpability on the part of the hospital managers.

Yeah this guys head should roll....

Wonder if her parents will get a new identity? Due to people targeting them? Also according to https://forebears.io/ - a website showing how many and where the surnames are located in the world, there are 50 people with the surname of Letby in the UK. I thought my surname was a rare one, but there's 40 times more people with my surname than mine. So it's easier for scum targeting her parents with hate mail etc.

I've just done a search on this and can't find her parents being targeted, any links?
I can find stories where they want to move to be closer to her which is weird, if it was my daughter I now wouldn't have one.

I'd let them move and then transfer her to the other side of the country.

Denial is a powerful thing, didnt her mum beg the police not to take her away when she was arrested and started claiming she had done it not her daughter. Think that sums them up quite well.

Possibly sums up why she's a wrong'un. Soft, weak parents who live in a fantasy world regarding their children are never a good thing.
I've seen that exact thing birth a murderer before.

Knew half of those. Chodes of the highest order but their parents thought the sun shined out of their backsides.

I honestly believe the death penalty should be there for extremely evil crimes. This would certainly fit that bracket.
This is actually one of the cases where it would be pointless to apply the death penalty. You see it costs more to execute somebody than it does to house them for the rest of their natural life.

The main point of the death penalty is it's aspect as a deterrent not it's aspect as a punishment, and in that aspect it worked well here and continues to work well in the states/etc, but the problem is you cannot use it to deter nut crazies, and anyone who systematically murdered nine babies is crazy even if they don't act like Howling Mad Murdock.

Our big cases for babies with cerebral palsy can reach 15 to 20 million because they have got to be cared for forever.
The babies who are injured for life could easily reach that amount however newborns who die through Clinical Negligence only get £30,000 or less however I think the murder charge will inflate that compensation.
In fact £30,000 for causing death by Clinical Negligence is our biggest payout which doesn't seem right to me.
