Nurse arrested for murdering babies

I was just reading the latest on this case.

Today the prosecution as introduced notes that Letby wrote herself at her house, on post-it notes.

The notes including writing: "I don't deserve to live. I killed them on purpose because I'm not good enough to care for them. I am a horrible evil person"

Another one says "I AM EVIL I DID THIS".

There are other notes too.

Be interesting to hear what her defence is? Coincidence?

Do you know if she's being cross examined or keeping quiet?

We had our twins in neonatal care for the 5 weeks earlier this yeah and the nurses were fantastic.

This nurse here? Something has gone very wrong in her head.

a lot of people saying this.

she doesn't look that great to me but better looking than the mental image you'd have of a lady babykiller. Maybe she did it for that, its about as sane an explanation as any other.

If they dilly dally about with regard to what pronouns to use, and other specious nonsense I can imagine suggesting a member of staff might be a murderess would be right off their politically incorrect scale. They fanny about worrying whether calling someone a woman is OK.... This comes as absolutely no surprise to me in an institution such as the NHS has sadly become.

I know someone who worked at Bristol hospital in pediatrics a couple of years after their heart scandal. If this hospital department was 20% as dysfunctional as Bristol was at the time I can imagine a murderer slipping through the gaps.

You should listen to the "serial killers" podcast on spotify by Parcast. They go through the most notorious serial killers and tell the story from when they were young and how it could have influenced them.

I'm not completely convinced these notes are a smoking gun, there was also a note that said she did nothing wrong so they can't both be true. She could have felt guilty and responsible for not being good enough at her job, and may not have been in her right mind after being accused of killing several children.

I also know 3 people in my life that owned up to committing certain acts when they didn't. The worse was a bloke called Howard who confessed to me that just like Michael Jackson he had sex with kids.
I was very close to knocking him out but asked a mutual friend first who said he was also Jack The Ripper and other assorted murderers.
Sadly he ended up hanging himself so it could be the Nurse is so conflicted she's writing any nonsense down.
I'll leave judgement on her until the Court decides and not take it from just the media.

One thing that surprises me, especially after the hospital suffered a spate of baby deaths is that more CCTV wasn't installed. Could have caught her in the act then.

Isn't that a popular trend with serial killers? They look approachable, some may say hot.

Have your babies at home, and care for your elderly parents at home, if humanly possible. The NHS is broken beyond the current will of its managers.

Even below average boarding kennels have more empathy for their charges than many so called "care homes". Putting your parents in some is akin to sending them to a cruel and frightening, yet eye wateringly expensive death. Less than a year at home with their family is worth six years in many such places.
