Nvidia 30X0 series waterblocks

I've only just decided to go new GPU so trying to catch up, am I correct in assuming non of the EK 3090 FE blocks have been released yet, pre-order here for availability in late march?
What's considered to be the best 3090 FE block currently available at present?

The 3090FE EK block is available for order. Pre-orders went up few weeks back. Initial batch should be start of March (hopefully when I get mine!). Joining queue now is getting longer. I suspect third parties will be longer then the EK site to be honest. So fromEK would expect End of march (silver block) / April (black block) getting from third parties would add a month on top.

Has anyone done a comparisson of the performance of the various FE blocks such as EK, Corsair, Alphacool? I ask as I haven't been able to find one and I think the Corsair block is an interesting alternative to the EK one at half the price.

Not seen any big comparisons more so for the 3090FE given most blocks have only just released / up for preorders. On other SKU's seen some people compare a few models including in this thread. Is on order of a couple of degrees between blocks and I suspect that will be case for EK block. Paying a premium for that build quality, looks and name I expect. One benefit I suppose is the EK FE 3090 Block does have a hybrid backplate which may help rear VRM temps, but on the whole I suspect not a big issue in general.

Not seen any comparisons but I've bought a Corsair 3090 FE block which I'll install soon. Looks aren't great on the front imo, but I won't see that in my case and it feels well built. Backplate is nice, too. Cheapish at £155, and importantly, available.

Seeing as no one is using peltiers anymore and the blocks are basically for aesthetics only then a degree or two is neither here nor there, so it probably comes down to what you think looks the best, what your willing to spend £150-£300 and what's readily available?

Pretty much I imagine. as mentioned from few comparisons I seen, a block change between most the WC players will not net you a massive gain in temp changes. Only thing I can imagine being in favour of the EK block is the Hybrid backplate approach, but once again the VRM temps with most waterblocks on already does not seem a massive issue persay anyways.

more or less finished my loop with a 5950x and 3090. Water temps were reaching 38c with a 30mm 280 and 480mm rad. Then I thought about a 480mm rad I bought I while ago that wouldn’t fit in my case and was unable to sell. I decided to mount it with a couple of rad supports. Water temps don’t go over 30c now with an ambient of 23c. Just need to find some kind of surround for the internal stat screen as the brackets I used look ugly. Any ideas please let me know.

I've pre-ordered the EK 3090 FE block, who knows when it will turn up.....
I left the bedroom window slightly open last night as I left the 3090 mining just to see how it got on, the CPU was just idling and according to core temp it dropped down to between 11-13 degrees across all of its cores, the 3090 sat at 58-59 all night.

Are just running the 480 or are all three rads you mention plumed into the loop? impressive temps either way imagine if you left a window open!

Check the memory junction temperature of the 3090. During mining it will easily throttle at 110 degrees. It can be controlled a bit by reducing PL and clocks. With my 3090 FE in a Lian-Li O11 Dynamic XL with the glass panel removed, I can maintain 106-108 degrees and 106 MH/s with the following settings:

Power Limit: 77
Core Clock: -100
Memory Clock: 0 offset
Fan 1 (the underside): 100%
Fan 2 (the top): 55% (sometimes more is needed)

I have EKWB FE block on order and as soon as they release the active backplate for it, will be ordering that too.

What software are you using to tweak those settings and monitor temps?
