NVIDIA 4000 Series

It will be an nvidia led update I would imagine, nvidia will release some media first to show it off, the media will end with "available now" - CDPR will push out the update, Nvidia will release a new game ready driver enabling it. The usual affair.

At least we get ray reconstruction from the 20th though. Maybe even this the same time who knows.

Is it confirmed to be in the 2.0 update and not locked behind the expansion ?

It is, the reviewers who have spoke about their experience with 2.0 specifically referenced trying out DLSS3.5 but no content can be shown until the 20th when the embargo lifts.

Also it has to release with 2.0 anyway as PL is an expansion to the base game, makes no sense to have DLSS3.5 release with PL as the base 2.0 update is necessary for PL in the first place.

It's the fastest 4090 on the market and with LN2 clocks of over 4ghz is achieved, so extreme overclockers may try to get their hands on one

Yeah i suspect that, they're advertising it as a best binned chips with the highest clocks but will be interesting to see what they can actually do in proper users hands who chase numbers.

So my Asus ROG Strix 4090 arrived this morning, complete with DPD customary dented/torn box, fortunately the Asus box is okay minus a slight tear in the cardboard.

Doesn't look like the card has the recessed pins, or maybe they just aren't as recessed as I thought they would be.
