It was, but I am including DLSS/FG as s/w features.
The 2000 series launched in September 2018 and the 3000 series launched in September 2020 so a 2 year cycle.
Supers were July 2019!

According to Nvidia they will will be releasing 5000 series in Q4 which starts in October, Depending on what the competition is doing, If AMD and Intel don't offer anything competitive at the upper mid to high end we likely won't see a release until Q1-2025 so it'll likely be a similar release time frame with the 4000 Super series to 5000 series.

Yeah - I was referencing the supers for the 2000 series, not the original launch.

But still regardless of when the supers launched there was 2 years between the generations, just because the super is launching a bit later doesn't mean the next gen is delayed, the 3090ti released in march 2022 yet that didn't delay the 4090 till the following year.
None because lets create FOMO and demand so we can whack prices up for next gen.

That wasn't my point.
We were talking about when the super series has been released for the 4000 series in relation to when the super series was released for the 2000 series - and the following generation of GPU's after that.
At no point did any of us mention the original launch date of the cards, it was about the 12 months that followed the 2000 super series with the 3000 cards - and the expectation of the 5000 series in relation to the 4000 super series.

Saw another video where they compared the FE cards to their counterparts and they're basically identical in shape and size, just a colour change to matte black.

Lets face it though come September no one in their right mind will be spending the best part of £800-£1000-£2000 on cards like the 4070S / 4080S / 4090 so if Nvidia wants extremely poor Q4 gaming figures then they can delay but why would they if they have Blackwell ready to go.
Yeah just a RRP which we know will probably be around 10-20% more with AIB models.
