NVIDIA 4000 Series

Haha definitely mate! As long as it performs I still think 12gb is fine... what we thinking the 4080 will be? At least 75% faster than the 3090 if 4090 is double the 3090?

I hope so. I mean it will be at least 50% faster than the 3090 one would imagine based on rumours. As long as the RT is a nice jump too and the price is not looney than I will be going for it.

no chance of that, still a grand for 3080ti?

People say that every gen though. They said it last gen too. 2080Ti performance for under £500? Get out of here... Lol

The only difference this time is the gimped pound plus inflation.

4080 GE "gimped edition"

Could be called a 4010 GE edition. As long as it performs much better than a 3090 and costs a lot less I could not care less :)

I look forward to seeing if the one with the water block costs more than buying a 4090 and a water block separate.
Does installing a water block invalidate the warranty? I’m tempted on a aio water cooled card if they are available on release but not too tempted by anything that invalidates the warranty (my 3090 died earlier this year so a valid warranty is something that’s a big selling point for me)

RTX4090 being 50% faster in 3dmark benches?
RTX4090ti will have 48gb vram?

Shut up n take my money now Jensen, I need the 4090 even though i will not utilise its power, I mean which Bugatti driver do you see drive at 270mph?

I'll sell my £1900 3090ti for £400 and add another £2600 for the privilege, no problem.

I'd break in half and upload the video on YT instead selling a 3090ti for £400

Because the *80 has always been the main part and launched in first wave?
but this time the *70 has been re-labelled *80, the *80 relabelled *90.... so the *90 is the flagship card

and the *90ti or titan if they bring back the name again is the real high end card.

The *80 used to be the actual flagship... many moons ago... now it's been diluted from a cut chip to a mid-change chip.

sigh

I just wish they would release the 4090ti/titan on launch... I can't be bothered rebuilding my loop twice.

Seems not this time and pretty much all of the media is reporting the same information so if you keep up to to date it shouldn't be a surprise. As I said, it makes sound business sense from Nvidias side to release the most fastest and most expensive card first to maximise potential sales and it's likely this will now be a thing going forward.
second-fastest consumer card... they're keeping the full fat chip yield to datacenter only first because of the huge markup... once those order dry up... we'll see the release of the *real* high end chip... 4090ti/titan

Not sure actually. I think it may differ from each manufacturer.

Vanilla x80 always been a cut down chip except for 30 series. They won't release 4080 on launch because of obvious reasons.
