NVIDIA 4000 Series

When you see the card without the cooler they are very small IMO. The new gen are really screaming out to be water cooled.

The problem with water cooled (custom loops) is the maintenance, on average to took hours to clean my custom loop (5 hours minimum). i am quite glad i am back to normal cooling on the GPU because if there is a leak or flow issue it became a right bug bear to tear down the system and start again.

May be a stupid question, but the closed loop cards, would they be better at getting heat out of the system? I have the CPU closed looped in a "be quiet Silent Base 601 Midi-Tower Case" (thanks Overclockers for this build, awesome!). I might need to mod my case for a side mounting, but if the 3 fan cards are just as good at thermals, then I wont bother.

by using objective evidence that real RT lighting is superior to fake, and there is no perceptible visual difference between DL super resolution images and native. Hardly rocket science.
"Objective" you say?
I have seen how it's done in Control:
1) Use the laziest, crap-tier, baked-in lighting implementation.
2) Compare to ray-traced lighting (and tank performance)

Yes absolutely, when you mount a AIO radiator with exhausting fans that heat is going straight out the case without affecting other components- so if you have a AIO GPU, you mount the radiator to the top of the case and that heat just goes straight out and the inside of the case will be very cool

But so far only colourful have announced a AIO 4090 card

It's not the case you need to worry about, it's the ambient temps of your room reaching 100c

I can see that MSi have one listed but no details. Will be interested in seeing this. Thanks for the info and reply too :)

It's the one I want, not sure if I should buy the cheapest one now and when the AIO one comes out buy that and sell my old one.

Although that Inno3D one above looks nice.

Anyone screwed because they listened to the hold comments and got shafted with Nvidia’s pricing?
Almost i remember holding until the last week of August and Grabbed it at £699, it was always going to be a massive risk holding against stock either being Artificially reduced or pricing being way off.

People was laughing thinking no way will the 4080 be anywhere near a grand and 4090 being around 1500 and look where we are now!:cry::cry:
