Nice to see a recovery, but market watchers are predicting it will fall again, hitting $1.05 by year end .

Thanks mate.An xbox series X is cooled by a vapour chamber and it works when on its side or upright
If it holds around this the prices will be more as per expectations £1700-£2000 for majority of cards. It’s a welcome improvement hopefully before major volumes of stock land it can get a bit better.
Do you think the vaper chamber will cause temp issues if the GPU is in an upright/verticle mounting?
I'd bank on £1800/1850 if the pound holds. How much are the zotacs gonna be not the o/c one .
Tempted to just upgrade my 3080 10gb to a 3090ti which can be had new for £1049.
My limit was the MSRP for the FE which I can't see happening now.
Still to high for me .. waits to prices drop abit more...I'd bank on £1800/1850 if the pound holds.
It's how long Nvidia themselves show 4090FE's in stock - after the initial rush - that will be telling, imho. That tells me a little story that there are quite a few people who are not going to pay the 40xx prices ...
Got to agree, you can't just drop them in either.£1800 for a GPU ... lol .... good luck people!
I can share this little story here, some of you know that I bought a Zotac 3080Ti, 2-3 days days ago. I found them somewhere else, £800 and they had 44 in stock, cause they show you when you add the card to your basket. I checked again yesterday evening and they were out of stock ... That tells me a little story that there are quite a few people who are not going to pay the 40xx prices ...

Tbh honest i would have bought the 309oti for the extra £100 quid but the 3080ti is looking like a good buy at £800, the 4090ti was even better.
Pretty sure this is exactly what Nvidia wanted so they could sell all the "old" stock.
Cheapest one I saw was £1049 but I just went for the 3090 at £899.I did not see that price for a 3090 TI, cheapest ones were like 1200-1300 and I wasn't prepared to pay that
