That will only happen when payment declined and order fails... then more when stock runs out.../que lots of nerd rage
lol I forget about the said website doing that all the time lolThat will only happen when payment declined and order fails... then more when stock runs out...
About time this happened. You just love to see it. I would argue they haven't seen anything yet. AM5 completely tanked and I expect Lovelace to be a sales flop of epic proportions.

Was honestly quite surprised with that one, with AM4 coming to an end i thought more people would have jumped on AM5. Think what killed it tbh was the pricing, its abit outrageous especially with the price of AM5 boards and the lack of budget options. You just love to see it. Considering the state of America, UK.. eveywhere after the few years, they are all severely out of touch, some users on here are though too.Was honestly quite surprised with that one, with AM4 coming to an end i thought more people would have jumped on AM5. Yeah i feel you mate, unless you're blind and deaf it really isn't hard to see what is going on.Considering the state of America, UK.. eveywhere after the few years, they are all severely out of touch, some users on here are though too.
Well anybody looking at buying a 3090ti know that there are new cards about to drop and reviews out on the 12th.
Once people see that the 4080 12gb gimped card is £300 more money than a 3090ti and slower, they will soon shift Even Gibbo advised anybody looking at buying the 4080 12Gb would be better off buying the 3090ti instead.
Who has any cash? The slashing started a while ago when 4000 series was rumored to be delayed. They were launched at 2k and dd NOT sell out.
If these cards are intended for enthusiast who "only want the best" and "don't care about the value", the 3090Ti was it....and they didn't buy.
Buy the best! When something better comes out...buy that. I mean if these cards are priced for the "Money is no object." enthusiast, the 3090Ti should have sold to *that market*. I think it actually did sell to that market, and I think the $2k 3090Ti buyers will also pony up for $2k 4090's as soon as they are available.
I just think that market segment is a lot smaller than Nvidia is trying to make its investors think it. That's why there were still a lot of 3090's sitting on the shelves after that market bought what they wanted.
When money is truly no object, the fact that something better is coming out doesn't matter, because they will just "splash the cash" for the next new shiny too....no need to settle for less than the best now if you have the cash right?

being a mobo or socket early adopter can get you burnt as well. Ideally want to jump in with stable chipset properly supporting a few gens of CPU updatesWas honestly quite surprised with that one, with AM4 coming to an end i thought more people would have jumped on AM5. LGA775 is not a bad choice then.being a mobo or socket early adopter can get you burnt as well. Ideally want to jump in with stable chipset properly supporting a few gens of CPU updates
Not to mention the upgrade to DDR5 and no ability to use your DDR4 memory.I have a very high end am4 build, probably the best you can get, as I play games at 4k I just didn't see the point after seeing benchmarks as I'll have to buy a whole new system.
The price is also a factor, the nice x670e boards are very expensive.
I'll wait until the 3d versions come out, maybe even next gen.
Definitely getting a 4090 though as I will absolutely benefit from that.
Yeah this too, though having jumped on Alder lake as an early adopter it's not been too bad. Had to update firmware and bios a few times but with each update the system has improved and stability/overclock potential has gotten a lot better too.being a mobo or socket early adopter can get you burnt as well. Is that just in the UK or have the US and EU prices increased as well ?.... i will assume the change is because £1=$1.10 rather than £1=$1.14 when they were announced. £20 extra isn't the end of the world when its a four figure sum , fingers crossed it doesn't go up anymoreFE card has gone up £1699 now!
