NVIDIA 4000 Series

Interesting to see at 1080p and 1440p in some titles how competitive some existing cards are with it. But then in other scenarios, the performance difference it massive.

Jesus, the 4k benchmarks are mental.

The performance is impressive but then the price is astronomical (coming from a 3090 owner). Will wait to see what AMD has to offer and then consider my options.

4k performance, power draw and fan noise in one quick image...

Going by this, and merely scaling CUDA core counts for 4080 12/16GB (ignoring clocks and VRAM), it means:

4080 16GB -- 59% -- just behind 3080 Ti
4080 12GB -- 47% -- between 3070 Ti and 3080

I've been majorly anti 4090 purchase to today. WOW. 60 to 120fps in 4k games. I have to have one. My OLED is finally going upto 120hz.

Was this not the expected performance level, more or less? Not been able to watch videos, so the takeaway I'm getting from responses is that it is about 80% better than a 3090ti at 4k. Thats the same leap as they marketed for a 3080 from a 2080ti I think, but instead of £400 odd less, it's a fair chunk more?
