People where scalping 3060ti's to make £30-50 and people think that it wont happen with 4090 FE because insert reasons here. :cry:

If one cant sell them on they can just return them.

And what is it with the Asus Strix Hysteria, like everyone wants one of them, plus Stix aint even top end

The Matrix line is like the top end for Asus, a bit like the lightning for MSI

But havnt seen a Matrix or lightning for the past 2 generations

Even if it happens can't see it lasting long , also is return free if you change mind ? And fully insuring it cost ?

All you have to do really is check fleabay for pre-scalping ads and there isn't any. Remember before when the 3080 launched and ads for a 1k-1.2k gpu were popping up all over the market places.

Mining was is full swing in 2020 when the last gen launched. I think you're misremembering. The launch was a cryptominer/scalper bloodbath.

They were scammers not scalpers, people selling bricks. The scalpers will have receipts up today and tomorrow when they get them the pics of the unopened boxes ... You know how it goes.

Maybe 1 or 2 but with the price as it is, i really doubt it. A particular group im in who resold a lot of 30 series hasn't even mentioned 40 series since the price announcement. The current economy has a lot to do with it as well i think.

If anyone takes £2000 out in cash and takes it to a shop, would it make you think about what you're spending two thousand quid on? Rather than clicking a button and be almost desinsitised to the ttransaction, wold having the 2k cash in your hand make you think about it more?

Yes well I don't mine so maybe got mixed up but I'm sure it all kicked off with the mining after the release of the 30 series cards not before it, maybe I'm wrong and thought back then was fighting gamers and pro users as most of us here couldn't get a 3090 to save our lives for weeks after.

has anyone seen if the aorus 4090 WB exists yet ? if not just gonna get an FE and put an EK block on it myself, would rather not though as I did it with my 3080ti FE and that was scary :cry:

Maybe , I hope they are put off and people that want them get them this time, but time will tell.
