NVIDIA 4000 Series

Really hope you are right! Unfortunately they just return the cards within the return window though.

@MidKnight odd, just checked and it definitely says 16th for the 4080 launch.
I believe you but they are on their site right now - obviously cannot say where etc but I just double checked and they are they - I wonder if they are accidentally selling them early?

I also think people are nervous about having warranty issues if they buy from someone that isn't a store. Certainly puts me off.
Defo for sure, Fat chance I'm shelling out almost 2k for a GPU without a warranty, These scalpers must be living in cloud cuckoo land, You might get the odd desperate person buying one but not now they're readily available in most stores.

Me personally I'd say this is fantastic no one's buying em and I hope they lose out on em as well if some places charge restock fees etc.

If those prices are reflective of all retailers, I'm convinced this is to make people buy the older Gen cards so they can get rid of them and then they'll drop them afterwards.
Because an £1100 3080/90ti suddenly doesn't seem so bad compared to those prices.

Or "oh the 4090 is only a bit extra, I'll get one of those"

Edit. As below

lol either jensen doesnt want to sell the 4080 or maybe he doesnt want to sell the 4090, which can mean either of the 2 scenarios - very low stock for 4080 or extremely low stock for 4090 depending on which one it is

I think with my discount I can get via a family member, I can get a 4090 for the same price as a 4080 by the looks of things. Even so, I think it's team red for me this time if they not mental cost
