The consumer is currently pitched in a battle against GPU manufactures and retailers who want to keep charging pandemic/crypto prices and are trying to make them the norm. IMO it's a fight the consumer must win and the only way to do this is starve the companies of revenue until they back down.

I think the ASUS TUF is still the go to card this time round. I have coil whine on mine, but it is nothing in comparison to having a screamer of a Palit 2080 Ti.

I love my 3080 TUF, built like a tank. Makes me wonder what the point of the Strix is.

Finally got to use the 4090. Made up, my ek fe block arrived at the weekend. Installed it in my machine. .
Nice upgrade, that has pushed the games Ive played so far into the 4k120 range which looks really clear on OLED.
I've not tested pushing the overclock and just set the sliders to max and a 150 oc on the gpu and 500 on the memory.
Temps have ranged from low 30's for non demanding games to around 45-50 in more demanding games such as Cyberpunk.

Excellent news! Eagerly awaiting EK to send the block for the TUF 4090. I keep checking the product page and the date of availability is still tomorrow at the moment! Fingers crossed

I see some of the 4080 partner models are below the price of the FE. Still going to need some proper price drops before I'd consider picking one up, but nice to see this happen so quickly.

True the FE will not change in short term based on the exchange rate , but shop AIB cards should

Think the 3080 FE hasn't been in stock for 1 year plus. Nvidia cut the price of the 3090's and 3080 ti by hundreds. If AIB cards are well below FE, they'll have to cut.
