He thumbed this up.Most of his digs over the past 10 months or so have been about buying an overpriced card compared to the 3080FE. Particularly the part I bolded, hence the inconsistency. If the face fits you get a thumbs up. He conveniently misses off the part that from mining the card has put me in credit - so he still thinks it cost £1399 whereas the real figures are akin to getting given the card in Nov '21 and a chunk of cash. Why on earth this is anything anyone would be bitter about is incomprehensible. I certainly enjoy playing games on it, win-win.
Its a personal chip he has on the shoulder, weird thing to have but what can you do except add him to the ignore list. As you have see on multiple threads with a handful of other posters he likes to argue about tunnel vision things. Once again - be like Bill.
pointing out the obvious that the extra performance you get for the cost outlay isn't worth it (as attested to by every single tech press and even majority of the owners, even as confessed by yourself and the only reason you got one was cause the gf/wife "ok" it followed by mining to recoup the cost) especially when the mid tier card from the nextgen range will match/beat it for a far cheaper price as history has shown us
I haven't said there is anything wrong with that method, I'm disputing the bit about being "jealous" i.e. it is getting confused again.
@gpuerrilla only agrees it hasn't got enough vram, that's only the one issue, massive right enough especially if you paid £1200+ for one, but still just the one issue...A few of us have noted you seem to be very heavily invested "insisting" that the 3080 is suffering from all these supposed vram issues
still can't read either
Same here, have a 3070. Does the job nicely.Keeping things nice and consistent i need to skip 4xxx.
1070 > 3080 > 5090?
I find that hard to believe it’s a year away tbh, despite it coming from Jay.
Sounds like his buddies at EVGA (he didn't say EVGA but we all know he is sponsored by them and even if Nvidia doesn't sponsor him directly as he states) have some inside info that 4000 series is no happening for another year. So all waiting for 4000 series maybe waiting 12+ months more.

That is very impressive indeed! The best implementation I've heard, although the same problem with regards varied setups remain. I also struggle to discern the frontal sounddtage - using a clock face, from about 2 to 10 o clock (clockwise) are clear as a bell, but I couldn't make out directly in front.Definitely check it out! I did iti myself using a Rode microphone that captures sound from all angles a couple years ago to test out the effect and it is pretty impressive.
Here are a couple of examples:
I did not - I'll look it up in the morning.Did you ever hear about TrueAudio @Bill Turnip ? I remember being excited when I had my 290X, just reminded me of it.
That Barber shop is awesome lol.
yupJay is saying no new Nvidia GPUs this year?
I remember but I'm not certain that Jenson said said that Turing/Ampre wouldnt be be out for a long time and 6-8 weeks later it came out.
I also dont see the point in the rumors in the massive increases in power usage in a attempt to win the performance crown just to say oh our cards are not coming out this year and give AMD 3 months headstart.
