well if the motherboard and the HD cage are level and the gfx gtx card can go in the cage then u could get away with it

Do you think if I use my dremel to sacrifice one of my HDD cages it will fit? The case is otherwise awesome.
 
yea if the cage is lower than the mother board and all you want to do is remove the part that spaces out the drives in the cage yeah i guess you could do that

but if u cut out a part of the cage you could weaken the case its self

check if the case can take the GTX card as its 27.5cm long
and the GTS is 23cm long some might be 24cm

Will one fit in the thermaltake shark case? I try to find answer else where but no luck, so Im asking sorry if its been covered before. Thank You.
 
mm martin9887 well if its 28cm then it will fit but it will be hard to place it in

from that img tho it dont look as if its going to fit as a mother board is 24.38cm
and the gap after the board try is small. unless that board is a eatx board then its 33.02cm

GTX = 27.5cm some are 28cm
GTS = 24cm

mm relooking at the case it might just fit after all but im not sure on that sorry. im only guessing

This is driving me mad, :mad: can someone help me find out whether it fits or not, maybe someone at ocuk can comfirm it fits or something. please help.

Beautiful case...damnit I wish I would have saved up for that rather than this Antec 900. The antec is an awesome case with very good cooling but that Thermaltake is the kind of size I was looking for!

mm weird if thats your board in your sig the size is
ATX Form Factor, 12"x 9.6"(30.5cm x 24.5cm)

so your 8800 GTX is only a little bit bigger

im lost now lol as i didnt know there was 8800 gtx cards that small?

or it could be the angle of your pic thats making it look shorter.

No, no just a standard Asus P5W. 270mm GTX, maybe its because the case is tall, optical illusion? Actually quite a distance from the card to the case wall.
