NVIDIA Demonstrates Witcher 3 With Hair Works – Talks Hair Simulation, Next-Gen FleX PhysX and Turbu

If only developers actually spent the time to add these things in.

They won't so we should be thankful to NVidia, I'd love to see how games such as this would look on AMD cards if NVidia disallowed everything they added from working on an AMD card, AMD owners whinge about NVidia and GameWorks etc but they do still benefit hugely from the work NVidia do.

Incredible.

They posted a 'world view' type video yesterday too, it's on the witcher channel, shows the vast landscape to explore.

This game when released will set a new standard for titles to both look and play incredibly.

Never got around to playing the first two.. Are they very long games? Might after give them a try.

It depends what you want from it, you could probably do the main story in around 20hours.

Rig killer? Perhaps but the developers are very very pro-pc gaming, so I'd expect it to look sexy even on lower settings.

Looking forward to this myself. I got half way through the first one, went on holiday for 2 weeks and when i got back just couldn't get back in to it :(

Bought the second and like countless other games haven't even installed it yet. I'm really going to make an effort to at least finish the second one before this comes out.

I just don't finish games anymore. I think it's old age :)

Witcher 2 is one of the best games I've ever owned and I'm not a huge RPG fan.

Some of the newbies might find some of the crafting in the original game challenging though, it's also quite long. If you're not really a big RPG player might be an idea to start with 2.

The new Dragon Age also looks promising. Surprised it's not more talked about on these boards considering it's got Mantle support. Possibly one of the first games to really benefit from it as well.

Amateurs! :D

Looks great, but my PC can't play Witcher 2 that great on high settings so tbh might just get on PS4 to save me the hassle.

Make sure you're setting up the graphics settings correctly, if you've accidentally enabled ultra+uber sampling you're gonna have a bad time. iirc my 780's at 1440p in uber only hit around 45-60fps.
