**Nvidia G-Sync owners thread**

Who going be swapping or is thinking of swapping there Asus ROG swift for the new IPS Acer Predator XB270HU ?

I am not a fan of IPS gaming in truth. Having owned both high end TN and IPS, I will take TN all the time.... Now show me a 40" 4K TN with G-Sync and I will start to think about it :D

Got an Acer XB27OH g-sync 144Hz monitor a few days ago, got it set up to my liking now.

I'm blown away by the high refresh rate and g-sync, taken gaming to an unexpected level, so smooth and solid.

Anyone thinking about taking the plunge (if you have the funds) then go for it, once you experience it there will be no going back.

The resolution is OK for now, when there are a few more models from makers available I may consider stepping up to 1440p, but for now with AA on 1920*1080 does me fine

Nice one and glad you are enjoying it. Also added to the list in the OP :)

I have never capped my frames and never had an issue. Frame monitoring see's my frames sitting at 143.5 mind, so it is naturally capped at 0.5fps under. Maybe it was early teething problems?

KitGuru Says: A 34” 100Hz IPS display with 3440*1440 resolution and Nvidia G-Sync seems to be a great choice for gamers, who also want to enjoy fine colours and viewing angles. The price of the product will naturally be prohibitively high, but 100Hz refresh along with G-Sync may be worth it for many gamers.

Expect to pay over a grand for this but the specs look sweet as. Do want but over my budget :(

Didn't realise we had a roll call, stick me down got a ROG Swift :)

Added :)

Looking to move to a gsync screen soon. I'll be selling the CPU, mobo and ram in sig to help fund the purchase, (X99 build on the way). But, I'm pondering wether to go 1440 or 4k. The former I reckon will be grand with a single 980ti, not so sure on the latter. But going 4k now on lower settings might do ok until new gpu's are released.

Having run both 1440P and 4K, I personally feel 1440P is the sweetspot and I am a fan of a single GPU + G-Sync over multi GPU and G-Sync. It just works and works well and with your 980Ti, you can max settings in pretty much every game out and get playable frame rates.
