No source and it was a guy on the chat on the PCper from Asus. I asked about low frames feeling smooth on G-Sync and said I had pre-ordered the Acer 4K G-Sync moni and he said that low frames wouldn't feel like more but the Acer can do 120Hz at 1080P.
Sounded legit to me anyways.
Well I find I suck worse than normal at 4K on BF4, so 1080P and 120Hz would be pretty special. I sure hope it is true anyways.

My Samsung 4k does ~90hz at 1440p, so no reason the Acer wont do at least this
Just been reading the manual for the Acer 4K...
The manual is entirely written as for the user using it at native resolution and refresh.
It HAS a ULMB option...listed as N/A and un-selectable. So why have the option there at all? UNLESS it can be enabled at the reported 1080/120hz?
That or they're just using the same scaler unit/OSD for both the 4K and 1080/144 GSYNC units (more likely!).

Gibbo has them down as stock landing Friday 5th of September, HOPEFULLY we get some Saturday delivery bumps for free

I think i'd like my swift more if i could get ULMB to work?? No idea why it wont select on the OSD. Updated the drivers and now Gsync wont show in Nvidia control panel either.

interesting article. It's the first one that I have seen about gsync that mentions it works better when you are hitting high FPS. Now I don't know how valid his claims are as he mentions he can tell the difference between 100hz and 120hz easily, I wonder can he?
I was hoping that Gysnc and Freesync would work best at lower FPS to make a game feel better so you wouldn't need high end hardware. That you could pump up the detail levels and still get a smooth gaming experience. According to this article that's not the case.
Hope to see more reviews. Would love it if our own PCM2 could get his hands on one to give his review.

High framerate is always going to be better than lower, he did say Metro at 60hz with gsync felt like 100hz though so it clearly still works well at the lower end.
