**Nvidia G-Sync owners thread**

My display snobbery prevents me from purchasing a TN panel, but this looks awesome. Are TNs better than they used to be?

They are but the difference I have noticed with the Swift is colour shift. When I had the Samsung 4K, it was very good for colour shift but the Swift seems to suffer it quite notably. Not a spoiler, as generally I sit in front of it when gaming or doing anything but it does show if you move from side to side.

That's one of the main issues I have with TNs, and I imagine it would be more pronounced with with such a large panel.

I like to have decent viewing angles.

Add me as well please Gregster:

It's coupled with 2x GTX 980 SC's :D

XL2411T is horrible for colours and uniformity, probably one of the worst 120/144hz TN screens. It doesn't bother me that much but I'm waiting it out for sub £300 1080p gsync screens, I don't really need 1440p, I'll make the jump from 1080 to 4k in a few years when there's 120/144hz 4k screens.

My other monitor is an Asus VG278H and has none of the colour shift and that is a 27" TN panel, so it can be done. When comparing the TN of this monitor to the IPS Dell I had, I would take the Swift everyday of the week though. No tearing, no stutter and no input lag (that I have ever noticed).

TN or not, this is the best monitor I have owned.

Ok so im having a crisis atm on what would be better @4k. My dilemma is 'Would it be better to get 2 x 970's and a 4k g-sync monitor OR get couple 290x lightning @4K'.

Now this would be my setup for the next couple years Ofc i could always add a 3rd 970/290x Lightning later down the road when the time comes even though 970 Tri-sli seems to have little or no extra performance gain.

So what do you think guys and girls, worth it or not? here is my thread if ya care to have a peep.

It's got to the point now where I can fire up some games and without even have to check LED status or otherwise. I KNOW G-SYNC is off.

Even when running at good FPS...IE 100+ I can tell it's off and it feels and looks a juddery mess...AT 100 FPS!

I am truly shocked just how much of a difference G-SYNC makes to fluidity, even at excellent frame rates. So spoilt by it now I cannot see me being able to live without it or similar technology.
