**Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Thread**

This is the problem no one is prepared to wait just to save £100 with Vega and get 1080 performance. With the price cut and 1080 Ti at 1080 price it makes Vega DOA unless it's 1080 performance for £400

Nah, I'm jumping ship. Sick of waiting and limping on these 5870's. Haven't had an NVIDIA since 2006.

I wasn't far out it seems, in fact I may of been right on the money :p

£699 (For the most basic edition), people are placing to much emphasis on the current price of the 1080's, I believe the 1080Ti will replace the 1080's like the 980Ti replaced the 980's but at a slightly higher price.

Your having a laugh at £699. It will (imho) be more then that, but we should seen soon enough.

I know people are expecting a lot higher but I'm banking in it replacing the 1080 and if that is the case I can't see them pricing people out of the market.

The 980 was a 4GB card and the 980ti a 6GB Card

The 1080 is an 8GB card and so will be the 1080 TI

Its a different scenario altogether.

699 for a TI?

yep right!

I think you're being EXTREMELY optimistic there! They priced a lot of people out the market with the 1080 lol! I thoroughly expect the 1080Ti to be a £750-800+ card. Only if VEGA comes in as a serious rival at a much lower price will this change.

Prices, including those for the NVIDIA Founders Edition, start at $699. Pre-orders on the NVIDIA webstore begin March 2nd at 8am PT.'

I wonder when OCUK will be getting them in...

I am surprised that he said will be available next week given there have been like no accurate leaks of the specs. Definitely tempted to pick one up and replace my 970 SLI.

I am in a similar boat.

I have a 980 SLI setup, I am tempted to sell up and jump over, but I am not convinced at my resolution (2560 x 1080) if I would see any significant FPS increase (60 is fine for me). If I was gaming at 4k or 2k then yes it might be worth the jump.
