**Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Thread**

Err, the 1080ti will be louder than the 1080, as it will be almost +100W, more when overclocked. Of course that's assuming the same cooling method.

1080's are already very quiet cards, unless you bought a flounders edition, in which case you have no-one to blame but yourself.

i did get a Founders edition. Like i have for last 2 gens. However Its better for SLI scenarios.
I was not going to wait 5 odd months for the classified i ordered... (was running on a 430)

That does not mean its my Fault..
could i got another card? yes.

still i can sell this 1080 Right now & get a Ti with no issues.

Well then guys lets say AMD pull out a card that's inbetween 1080 and Titan X pascal by lets say Q1 2017 at £550-£600 do we think Nvidia could do another 980 Ti scenario?
drop the 1070 to around the £350 mark yes I know you can get the odd model for that price but the majority are more expensive. bring the 1080 down to £450-£500 and price the Ti at £650 slightly more than the AMD card but slightly faster yet slightly slower than Titan X? I think pricing depends on what AMDs next card can do and at what price.

I really hope AMD release early. I'm ready to upgrade now. But I know that if a 1080Ti comes out now, will still no competition then it will be silly money. I will buy either 1080Ti or Vega. But need both players in the market to get a reasonable price.

Pre-order now for delivery some time in mid Q2 2017.

By then Volta will be calling us, I guess this is a way to stop vega becoming better than NVidia offerings. I do feel that the 1080ti will not be held back as it should be quite easy to make.

WCCF though we now how much click bait is in there and hense why I never go onto that site.
