Err no it looks great, just not worth the framerate hit

Building a new machine and want reliable 1080p60 at high settings (with some overhead/DSR) and a good VR experience, has to last until big Pascal. 980ti or a cut price 980?
Some sites are now saying it'll be $649. That will mean a £500 price tag here perhaps?
Although I don't think it will be that low since that's basically 980's price range.
980 - £400
980ti - £600?
Titan X - £800
Seems more likely.
Exciting times though, if it's £500 then I'll definitely grab one, since it will probably come with W3 & Batman too.
It wont be £500. £600+ is more likely.

Literally anything, even a 970, 1080p is small
The first couple of games I want to play are pCars and W3. Neither of those hit a locked 1080p60 on a 980 at high settings.
The release of the GeForce GTX 980 Ti will be soon, some photo's already have surfaced. EVGA on their end made a rather unfortunate mistake, as there is an EVGA SKU listing of GTX 980 Ti GPUs incl prices.
Website wccftech was the one that spotted this EVGA listing. Judging from the pricing, the GTX 980 Ti is listed with a base price of 799 USD. Honestly, that seems too much as I really expect something in the 699 USD range. But still, who knows.
Listed are:
- GEFORCE GTX980TI REFERENCE card is going to be shipping for $799
- GEFORCE GTX980TI SC (SuperClocked) edition with ACX2.0+ cooling solutionat $810.
- GEFORCE GTX980TI SC REFERENCE retailing for $816.
- GEFORCE GTX980TI SC+ (With Back Plate) and the ACX2.0+ cooling solution $827

More than likely £650 sure. No harm in hoping for less though
