**Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 Ti Review Thread**

Pretty sure for me gaming at 3440x1440, a pair of these is going to be better than a pair of Titan X's considering it's going to work out several hundred less!

Any ideas on when EK Blocks will be available?

Reference 980ti is Titan X PCB. :)

If its the same card/clocks etc apart from the 6gb of memory why does the TX still pull 2/3fps over the Ti in 80% of benchmarks?

Either way not worth the price difference, wish I'd have waited, oh well wose things happen at sea.

Titan X is full fat 3072 cores and 980Ti has a cluster lobbed off so 2816 cores.

TI is a cut down version gpu wise, few less cuda cores etc

Ok, it's worth it over the 980 (if it's 550 and the 980 is 400).

Maybe not so much if 980 drops to £350.

If only didn't have the hassle of having to pull apart system with the three 290x's...

For a good price .. there are some peasants out there like me who might!

Would love the cash for one of these new 980ti's but i only game at 1080p at the moment so there is not much point.

Well well, is this a hell of a card for the price or does the TX's exorbitant price make it look good? In the current market it certainly looks decent and justifies it's price far better than the 980 ever did. Would be tempted by 3rd party cards if I were playing more demanding games.

The TX is in a worse position than the original Titan as the 780 was slower in comparison than the 980 Ti is, and that first Titan had double precision. In multi GPU scenarios I guess at 4K the extra VRAM could make a difference but by the time that's widely the case the card will lack GPU grunt and will be an irrelevance. I suppose to many owners the extra few months of super performance will have made it worthwhile, alongside the bragging rights.

Now to see what AMD bring to the table. Whoever said close performance for £450 that sounds right to me.
