*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Wow, it only took OCUK almost two months to do what all the other companies did from the start, the thing that shows respect to customers instead of to their wallets.

Hello everyone, just calling on all people who ordered the Gigabyte Eagle OC. My order date and time is as follows.
17/09/2020 15:13:57
My last queue update was for number 196.
I’m struggling to believe that this is possible as I’ve been trawling through this forum for going on 3hours now and I’ve seen people order (albeit different brands) at literally like weeks after me have either got their card or have a shorter queue position than me. Again I know they have different branded cards but I bought a gigabyte card knowing it was one of the biggest brands that was also selling a retail priced card so it’s surely okay to assume their manufacturing process would be faster? But back to my original point of ask, can anyone that ordered this card at a similar time confirm they have a similar queue position just to save my sanity

i ordered at 15:19 and my position is 102 right now. I’m extremly frustrated that my order did not move since i have ordered on launch date. I really did have faith in Gigabyte delivering but looks like i gotta move away from Nvidia and probably Gigabyte too.

Last Friday i was @ 1181 on an ASUS TUF OC 3080 and today I am @ 1055. I wonder how many out of the 126 places i moved were due to cancellations.
I think they had 38 units in so the remainder are probably cancellations ! at least that's my understanding of the show! im@ 657 tuf oc 3080!

But does it not say in the video that its more for acoustic reasons than actually to prevent damage to the AIO?
It's been a while since I watched that video to remember

Nah mate, the air gets trapped around the inlet causing higher failure rates long term, just watch the video?

Wouldn't get your hopes up, pretty sure most are cancellations, including mine.

Since I was given my first queue update a few weeks back there's been about 300 Eagle cancelations ahead of me. Either way I'm moving up the queue. A few Eagles did ship this week so at least they're moving now, if only slowly.

Screw'em. :)

Haha. Awesome :D

I will cancel aswell tomorrow my 3080 oc strix
Still 139 after close to 2month, I was 200 initially
Had enough
With alerts in tweeter made 3070 at 500gbp
I will use the rest of the money to get a better cpu probably a 5900 instead a 3700x
Maybe next year when new games will be released and new cards announced I will change the 3070 for new one. For now to get rid my 970 and play 2k is enough
Its a laugh how they managed this compared to competitors. You can see how many cards delivered tto Germany France Spain, UK mainly scalpers.

I dont get why they didn't close preorders when reached a max number
Why they didnt communicate properly
Not giving clear numbers, updates
Full payment upfront, never seen this in a preorder
No option to choose stock

The whole idea of pre-ordering is have it before anyone else but when you see many people are getting them before you just to scalp, it's ridiculous.
