*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Argh, the 3080 I ordered yesterday wasn't in stock after all. It said 2 in stock when I ordered, and then went down to 1. But having spoken to them this morning it appears it wasn't in stock after all and I'm now waiting for some more to land in 48hrs...allegedly. It was a pretty small supplier so fingers crossed not too many other orders ahead of me...
 
Discord team just threatened me with ban if continue asking them difficult questions. They say my posts have nothing to do with sales, but I'm asking about the card they sold me lol Silence us is their only tactic lol This is ridiculous. I have been told theconly place to get updates is gibbos post but they provided me with an update that gibbo didn't. So they clearly lie when they say they know as much as gibbo post tells them. The layers of lies in here are something to be proud of guys. They burried themselves so deep in lies in such a short amount of time that I sincerely hope it bites them in the ass. Competitor sent over 200 gigabyte cards alone in last week or 1.5 weeks. I'm almost convinced now that the secrecy comes from them shoving our cards into prebuilds. Honestly, they think we are all nerds and can be ripped off. Bunch of amateurs I tell ya.
To be fair, you did go on a 3 paragraph rant about their business practices and state that you were flooding the sales channel in the hope of making one of the higher ups feel stupid....

we all get it, we're all frustrated, we're all annoyed at that lack of communication, but that isn't really going to help the situation at all.

I'm not surprised. Berating the CS team who can't influence business decisions isn't going to get you anywhere. Clearly OCUK aren't going to change, otherwise they'd have done so already. They've doubled down to weather the storm, hoping that come the next major launch, people will have forgotten about it.

Also lies != procedure. They clearly have a procedure in place (regardless on our opinions of them) where Gibbo posts official communication regarding updates via the forum thread, with GIGA-Man updating this thread with EVGA specific information.

Even tho i canceled my orders with ocuk and i will get my stuff from other places and never give ocuk a penny i still check in here everyday and i cant help but think they are acting the way they are cos they are making interest on holding everyone's cash.

I have used ocuk for years (been using computers since i was 11 when i started with a zx81! lol) and i am really shocked how they have handled the latest launches and i wont be surprised if it effects them in the long run.
 
Well Lads after waiting since launch I finally snagged a gaming trio elsewhere. Paid slightly more than what I did on my pre-order. Current Position around 368 which I will cancel now I ordered on launch day around 5:30pm. Highly recommend anyone wanting to pick any card up to go to twitter and follow "Parts Alert" with push notifications as that's what i did. Had numerous chances to get gigabyte, Asus Tuf cards etc can't recommend enough.

Was going to stick with OC but there has been so much lack of transparency regarding stock with the gaming trio's and many others especially over the last week that I'd rather get my card before Xmas than potentially waiting around. I understand they may have lack of stock etc but I think customers just want full transparency on actual shipment #'s especially when they've paid fully upfront.

So by this logic ZERO cards have been shipped this week...Queue positions should be interesting tomorrow. Having followed the stock situation closley this week has seen plenty elsewhere with an FE drop and alternate cards being offered where queues for other SKU's have been cleared, where OCUK have chosen to put their spare up and scalp in the process. We have had NO weekly Gigabyte update as promised this week and @Gibbo has been active in other threads but radio silence here as our money is secure.

CS must have a line to @Gibbo and their job is to you know serve customers who are happy or irrate...

You will receive an update Friday afternoon, or when they ship any of the SKU you are queued for, though this last update mechanism is apparently not happening anymore, people are saying—the cynic in me thinks it was giving us too much insight into what they're shipping vs what they're claiming to get and so forth.
 
I wonder what is the story with the KFA cards? I was 9 in queue for a KFA 3070 SG and two weeks later only moved 1 place.

There's a 3080 and 3090 open thread, but none for the 3070, and nothing mentioned in the latest deliveries either.

I don't mind waiting, I understand OCUK can't magic up cards out of nothing, but I would like at least some kinda indication like "We hope to have them by early December" or "We likely won't have them until next year" or whatever.

This was one of the reasons i cancelled my orders.

I was not notified of my queue position and when i asked via webnotes i got a reply with out a answer to it so when i asked again i was told i did not ask?!?!?!? After seeing everything in this thread i cancelled and will let a different company make a profit from me instead.

From what i have found out lurking in this thread is that on a Friday everyone "should" get a queue update.
 
I don't care that their procedure is what they made it. The result of their procedure is we are being fed lies from day one, for example they lied they even had an ETA for 23rd of September when I purchased the cards as after calling them they told me they never knew when the cards are coming, nor had an estimate. The ETA on their page was bait, nothing else, they plastered it there to lure us in and not buy from competition. If you can't see it then you are just a child.
No, a child is someone who's blood pressure has risen so much that they are harassing staff who aren't able to do anything about it. I get it, I didn't want to wait this long for my card either, but it's the hand I've been dealt and it's not like I can get one from anywhere else either. Do I think OCUK have made mistakes? Definitely. Do I think they're mis-handling the situation? Most certainly. Am I having a strop about it? No.

I don't know how you got that logic from what I posted. They don't have to post stock updates and haven't disclosed why there haven't been any this week. That doesn't mean no cards have shipped.
