*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Sorry, we want to build enough cards but there is just not enough stock. It's going to be at least two weeks before more Eagle land into the EU region.
Thank you for telling us this and we really appreciate it. So, we've got 2 weeks at a minimum? How many cards will be in the next lot or is it only going to be 30 - 50 cards

Once a type of card has been sent out then you will get your updated position, no point updating if none have been sent.

To be honest I'd argue that sending the email weekly might actually help OC maintain a illusion of progress to anyone not checking the forums. Cancellations would make it look like the queue was moving, and the slow movement of the queue would create a few more cancellations. Sure, a few customers would cancel, but lots of the rest would likely shift the blame to the manufactures rather than OC.

I'd prefer they keep the update the queue only with shipments, but add a weekly long form summary update to send out to everyone, but even just sending the queue emails weekly would at least give the appearance of attempting to keep customers updated.

True, I was 32 in the queue for an Eagle, but no idea if anyone in front has cancelled

@GIGA-Man are you able to disclose the situation with the Gigabyte Gaming OC cards please? I have seen plenty of these on Reddit etc more so than the Eagle but radio silence here practically. Are the OC cards having the same issues as the Eagle? Thanks in advance.

Exactly this

To be fair if the tech press are to be believed, Dec 20GB version of 3080 will superceed the 3080 10GB anyway. This could freee up stock if people are still queueing as expected.

I don't think it will supercede the 3080 10GB, I think the two will run parallel, but the price hike for 20GB will be prohibitive, perhaps as much as £900 - £1000. Oh and extra cooling and power might well be required as one Russian review site found it's the memory which is generating the most heat on the RTX3080

All our cards are still only shipping in small numbers, but there are weekly shipments. I'm doing my best to keep you all informed but I warn you all now you will be disappointed with some of my answers.

Your basing your assumption on price with the current status quo. If its true that big navi will compete with the 3080 and have 16gb ram and be at a similar price point to a 10gb 3080 then there's no way they can charge that much

Can you give an answer as to whether the Eagle stock was pulled to fix the power connectors? At least then it would give confidence that when stock finally arrives it will at least have the decent power solution.

I've already answer that buddy, all the stock now being built and arriving now has the change, it did not delay any shipments as it was a straight swap. There are just lots of shortages on all lines.
