*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Can you stop repeating something that is not true at all? I ordered gigabyte Gaming OC, they shipped some last week but they never sent any update emails.

Gaming OC queue only will have moved 1-4 places but the lack of an email is a bit annoying. I'm starting to wonder if any actually shipped and it was just a mistake in that shipping update.

I hate to be that guy, I haven't even got an email (3080 TUF) ordered start of October.

I *know* i'll be waiting til 2021, but is it really bad news if you don't even get an email?

I only wanted the card to play cyberpunk...

TSMC process 130,000 wafers per month. How many GPUs you fit on a wafer or their yields... I dunno

Exactly my point.

One wafer yields many GPUs - it would be safe to assume 10s or 100s of GPUs per wafer.

With this in mind, the current supply of graphics cards could easily have been delivered from a single day of production from the GPU manufacturer...?

So what's going on? The GPU manufacturing shouldn't logistically be a bottleneck, but it feels like it is.

The first queue email went out on the 2nd of October, if you ordered after it went out (or maybe slightly before, no idea how the generation works) you won't get an email till some TUF non-OCs ship. Some people also seem to just not be getting emails, but I suspect you are just in the "ordered after the emails were sent" group. And I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but I'd guess a 2k+ position for a TUF non-OC ordered in October.

I ordered at the weekend - when should i expect my queue position to be emailed to me?

Unfortunately emails only go out whenever the next batch of cards of whichever type you ordered ship out. Depending on which card it is that could be tomorrow, or a month away.

I do wonder why they don't have it setup to automatically email new customers their position after ordering (or even list the end of the queue number on the store page). That would be a better system.

It is true, I was 75th in the queue, the update was we are receiving an OK amount of Ventus, a day later I got my updated queue position. Have you checked your junk email?

There's a world wide shortage of PCBs which might well accountable.

Queue updates didn't go out about either the Gigabyte Gaming OC cards that @Gibbo reported shipped with the Vision and Aorus Master cards last Wednesday (which did get update), nor the Zotac Trinity OCs that people got shipping emails about last Thursday (which also weren't reported in the official shipments thread). OC's sending of update emails has so far been inconsitent (though personally I suspect no Gaming OC actually shipped and it was a mistake in that update).

Thank you for your honest reply. I'm not angry, just disappointed. I had booked a week off work. I think it would be in my best interest to cancel my order and buy a 2080ti. thanks

Sorry, we want to build enough cards but there is just not enough stock. It's going to be at least two weeks before more Eagle land into the EU region.

@GIGA-Man @Gibbo

I ordered my Gigabyte Eagle OC card on the 17/09/20 a mere 3 hours after launch, there are hundreds of people in front of me and behind me in the queue. At this point I feel that us the consumers need more information to make more informed decisions on the future of our orders. We are advised now that Eagle OC is not going to have EU stock for another 2 weeks, but that gives no indication on how much OCUK is likely to receive, and I imagine its not going to be close to fulfilling the backlog but without any indication its a stab in the dark.

Please can we have a realistic ETA for orders taking into consideration production, shipping, and stock allocation, even if you are not able to provide specific detailed procurement information based on production trends and allocation surely these things can be predicted, like the prediction of my card being in stock when I purchased it on page showing 23/09/20. Can there be more transparency in terms of what the bottle neck is? Is it a component which is related to 5G like some of the forum users have suggested?

AMD's new card series is not far around the corner and it is evident that there is a large risk at this point of many people just cancelling their orders. I worked for the NHS in Procurement for many years and I have never seen such poor communication in relation to a product requisition. I appreciate the problems are not directly your faults and I also appreciate the grey area updates that you are providing where many out there are providing nothing but there should be substanced additional information for us to be make better informed choices.

Thanks :)

So what you are confirming is my statement is not untrue and I was correct.

Emails are going out to update queue positions once your brand of card has been shipped, it is probably a manual process so some maybe have been missed.
