*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Why even bother listing other cards when OC is clearly sponsored by Asus! Seems to be one of the only aib's sending stock, the closest we get to the others are the pictures you can still preorder on the site...

Wrong. The cards received are without packaging and for pre-builds, so they are a separate product
maybe for dell or someone doubtful in the case of overclockers.

Show me the evidence that you have to back this up, i fully understand this is the case with dell and few other big branded pre builders but overclockers custom pc builds highly doubtful they received special packages of unboxed hardware for pre built's. They literally pull it off the shelf and build it

Well 3 people will be happy tomorrow regarding the 3080 strix oc, I'm wounded as number 6 in the queue lol
I missed the last batch by 3 so I know them feels bro. Deliveries seemed to have slowed as well so knowing my luck they dry up completely from now on. I'm saltier at the front of the queue than I was before!

I'd seriously hope anyone who ordered a prebuilt now would go straight to the back of the respective 3080 queue. I wouldn't be surprised if not though. Tbh, everything seems to be more bad news.

Just before the release date of the 3080 I was going to buy a pre built from here, I went through choosing all my gear I9 10900k, Z490 mb,64 gig mem, 850 watt psu, 3080 gigabyte gaming OC etc. and when I finished it kept nagging me because I hadn't ordered an operating system, well I intended to put my M2 with my windows 10 on it into the new PC, but oh no their bots kept telling me that we can't really build the system you want without an OS because we can't check it all works ok, I thought well you could and then remove it, but the upshot was I couldn't be arsed with the nagging and never bought it. I bought all the bits on the Rain Forest and built it myself, trouble is it sit's here now, fastest PC I have ever had with a Damn 1070 in it :-(

Well since you get the option to have original boxes with your prebuild of your components would answer that.

Exactly why OC should be sending an email to EVERYBODY each week. I'd like to see all cards status on the email but i'd settle for just seeing a queue update email each week to know they've not forgotten about us :p - 2-3 or probably even going to be 4 weeks on the eagle between updates is not acceptable[/QUOTE]

I am glad that you would see that as unacceptable. Sadly OC don't. Its been 25 days since I ordered an eagle and have not even received my 1st queue position. If I wait another 2 weeks that will be 40 days, give or take. And even then, as I didn't receive the first queue position, I will not receive it then either as everyone else who missed the 1st one has found so far. Sounds like a problem that needs addressing right? Not to OC it isn't!

When I ordered it was because they said that I would be sent the card on the 23rd September. Was the only reason I ordered this card. Now I am faced with the fact that I am in a queue that won't even start to move until November. Where I am in that queue (or whether I am in the queue at all) is anybody's guess. Seems like it would be simple to put right doesn't it? Nope. It's impossible for me to be given an actual queue position, literally impossible! Can't be done! And when they start shipping, have they fixed it so I at least get a queue position then? No.. That simply is too much to ask.

I am glad that I am not the only one who finds this unacceptable.

I did tell everyone pre-October about Chinese holiday and no shipments, but no I got shotdown!

I was being deadly serious when I say China completely lockdowns for holidays, literally nothing happens apart from local groceries.

New to the forum. No 77 in the queue for a non OC Rog Strix. Gotta say that this entire situation is BS and a friend warned me not to order from the competition because they would be using most of the cards in pre builts. It looks like OC are doing exactly the same. Shame on them, I won't be cancelling because whats the point? However I think this company needs to learn not to treat its customers like absolute garbage

Just saw Gibbos post about MSI Gaming Trio arriving tomorrow and got very excited, then realised it was 3090’s, instant letdown!!
i did the same with the Strix OC's then realised it was very small, and small towards end of the week, given that im #40 i'll almost certainly miss out once pre-builts are taken in to account :(

Well past this 3080 purchase I won't be using OCUK again. Shame as I've been buying PC parts for years from here.

There have been lots of shipments from other vendors, including mine, over the last week. Have a look at other forums/discord etc to see.

It's like I have to explain how it works all the time, any shipements that were recent, were shipments from China "BEFORE" the holiday, there is obviously a lag between shipping out and recipient, so over this week or so we are in that lag from the Chinese holiday.

I'm in the queue at about position 979 or something so wondering if I should try and keep an keen eye on other sellers but it seems just not worth it as no one will give you any advance warning of anything coming in so as soon as anyone in any company knows of any impending stock they will be informing their friends etc to the exact time they come in so they can snap them up and resell for a grand profit - so basically feels like no hope for many many months of getting one of these!!

It is illegal in the UK to increase the price at the checkout after the customer has bought it at the advertised price

If you are 'at the checkout' then you haven't bought it yet...

There are rules about shelf-edge labelling and EPOS checkouts at self-service stores, but that doesn't apply to online ordering systems.

Once you have accepted the price shown at the final checkout online and paid then yes, the price can't change between the last displayed price and what they actually charge you.
