*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

The simple thing to do, and the right thing to do, would be for OCUK to come out and be 'honest' with all those who have given their hard earned cash. The silence is what annoys and irritates worst, it gets peoples backs up, and in the end, does no good for either party. Just come here and lay it on the line, as it is, and maybe there will be more understanding of this situation, regardless of the long wait. Ignoring customers is not the way to go here, and will only end up in damaging the reputation of the business and support in the long run.

Almost a month now since launch and the amount of orders fulfilled is laughable really. What a joke of a launch. Very close to cancelling tbh. I'm 235th in line for a MSI trio but at the rate they're getting cards i'll be lucky to see it by next Summer... Thought 200 odd wasn't that bad when I got sent the email. Hahahaha. Feel sorry for the people even further up the queue. Hope AMD capitalise on this and make a ridiculous amount of cards. I'm at the point with this whole situation i'm past caring now and not even excited about it anymore.

ordered the auros master 2 weeks ago ish. was 176 in que. Got an email this week saying im 167. Thanks a lot for your email! Just wondering do you think ill be able to get the card before cyberpunk is out? (nov 19th) wanted to ask since other people might be thinking the same thing.
Sorry ,no chances with high end card

So a month since I ordered my Strix non-OC. I can’t get my head around why it’s been a month and not a single shred of communication from OC on when I may receive my card. Even if they said they currently cannot get any information on my card I’d appreciate the honesty and at least know where I stand. Keeping people totally in the dark isn’t healthy and forces people to have to continually sit on a forum hoping today might be the day we see a message saying “a small amount of strix non-OC shall arrive tomorrow”. I’ve never seen such poor customer service in recent years. The lack of communication really blows my mind and shows they just don’t give a F. I’ll never buy anything from Overclockers again once this is over
Lemme provide more info than Overclockers have for you, the Strix non-oc is not currently being produced. We have very little idea when it will start but there's rumours of end of October/ Beginning of Nov. As far as supply is going for ASUS cards its about 10 every other week. so do with this info what you will (I also ordered the Strix non-OC, queue no. 95)

Well
Not surprised tbh
Deserved
I tried contacting the UK distributors for Asus components to find out what's going on but they wouldn't tell me a thing and just told me to 'continue communication with Overclockers'. Which is obviously a joke as OC flat out refuse to talk about it. There was an Asus rep on the forums but he seems to have disappeared now as well.
Why didn't you tell them the way you've been treated by ocuk?

OCUK are being torn to ribbons online now, rock and a hard place but the simple fact is they should NOT be taking any further pre orders. Thats stinks of utter bs
I don't understand. Why not take pre orders. From a business standpoint if they can get the sale get it. And from a consumer standpoint. Right now you can't order anywhere. No stock. At least I am in a queue. At some point will get card, granted might be next year. But price locked in and queue is updated now. Pre order doesn't change your queue position. Just new orders will have a super long wait. But that's their choice. Yes wish had more communication from oc but I think they can't communicate what they don't know. I feel they have been fair. You can cancel, you can order. You can even come on here and complain. Just my two cents

Yeah it's definitely not because some of the people have had terrible customer experience via the phone, email or web-notes.

I've been theirs customer since 2012 (probably not the oldest on the forum) but I don't recall that OCUK have been so silent. They used to post ETAs for products on their respective product page, a now you have this enigma bs where without decryption key tells you nothing.

@up taking paid pre-orders that they can't fulfill mind you. I would laugh when this situation stabilzes and people who already paid gonna cancel just because there's gonna be card available elsewhere with original MSRP price, but ocuk won't care because they already made a bank out of your money.

Ohh didn't know having terrible customer service totally agree with you on that. No reason for that. As far as ETA again I think they can't communicate what they don't know. Unless you think they do know and are not telling the truth. And they know when and how much stock they get ahead of time. But Gibbo seems to post every time they get new stock.

I wish someone who has a card preorder (and is low in the queue) would order a system build with said card in it just to see if the build becomes ready before the card preorder.

Receive said system, then return it but without the card and be like "well I have a preorder for a that card that I placed before this system build, so you can call my card preorder as fulfilled, but refund the system build", just to see what happens.

Completely hypothetical and pointless, buy would be hilarious to see the outcome nevertheless.
