good point but then again they can keep em 650 quid if wont make it to 3080 i dont have much use for money tbh. When You got all but health to do stuff money are useless. Only got this card to have anything to look forward to with my state cant play games on it anyway.

No one from here that's for sure, and unlikely anyone in the country. I've not seen any non-OCs anywhere since launch, and the ones that did go out at launch are pretty damn rare.
Check the popular scalping site - not a single non-OC available. They simply aren't being made, just no one is willing to admit it because then OCUK has the big problem of do we anger the non-OC orders by just cancelling them or do we anger the OC orders by merging the queues. Much easier to just ignore the problem

Right now while this is speculation and there's no real reliable evidence posted for it, I reserve judgement. I have seen the trustpilot reviews of people raging out about ordering a pre-order and having cancelled after 3 weeks with no updates. So there seems to be, at best, conflicting information on this. But also we don't see OCUK stock moving significantly slower than anyone else's right now, I've kept an eye on all the public information, it's not like OCUK. Not to mention OCUK aren't exactly Dell, they're a smallish establishment for prebuilds, when I ordered one a few years ago it was weeks in the making and they do list delays on the store and have priority build options, which means even if we just assume the worst which is they're trying to push more expensive prebuilts to mark up the cards even more, then it's some tiny fraction of the total stock that's come in.
Exactly, its getting out of hand. I'm looking forward to receiving it like everyone else, but I am not making out that OCUK are purposely trying to annoy customers.
They do perhaps need to work on their communication though. Gibbos thread has not mentioned some shipments that we know went out. It would also be useful to know provisional future shipments rather than only the ones that are definitely coming the next day
The main things that annoy me about this launch are the scalpers and people that buy more than one of the cards. The shortage of stock is all nVidia's doing
We can all report posts, as mods/admins may miss them. Hopefully @Space Monkey is dealing with it though as they're already active in the thread currently.
Worst thing is the user in question just got unbanned, and I believe that was a pretty lengthy one already. Hopefully they won't be back for a while

Worry not im on watch months now get phone check's quite often. Only got bad and even worse days. Everything is planned if i leave fot 2 people with acces to my ocuk account to post my ferwell note here dont like leaving lose ends.
i wasn't going to let myself get pulled into this and dont take what i say the wrong way but if you're happy to lose £650 and you don't have long left then why dont you just buy one from a scalper or a 3090 and pay the extra. If things are THAT bad for you then a few quid on a gpu isn't going to effect you. You should be making the most of the time you have left and not frequenting these forums. These forums for most are not a good use of time. If i didn't have long left i would buy what i wanted at whatever cost and enjoy it. Not spend all day on here trying to get peoples backs up
A lot of us know sick people or people that have taken lives. its a serious matter. on the scale of things a gpu (or even the cost of one) is nothing so putting them in the same thread isnt appropriate.
YE PRE ORDER says it all only sitting here cause literary got nothing better to do cause cant.

Even if raves ware around could not go cause of health anymore It is always interesting that if a person doesn't have your point of view they are potentially irrational or immature, even if they have given a logical or well thought out arguement. Not calling out anyone specific here just interesting seeing the vitriol on both sides of the fence...when there shouldn't really be sides..differing opinions are healthy

I agree, it's not the OCUK's fault that NVIDIA and manufacturers didn't make and stock up enough cards to meet the unexpected demand of the 30 series. I'm based out here in the US and I'm glad that I'm at least queued up to get a card. My friends have to basically have to hope to be able to get one. I'm lucky I was able to get in the queue before they closed sales to US customers. I've got my RTX 2070 to hold me over until then.

The cards were released on the 17/09/20. What we are doing is sitting in a backlog queue. It's wrong that e-tailers are using this term.

And actually if you've tracked that info over time (and I have) it's not accurate either, it's constantly revised with delays to shipping, and then the delays being given expected dates and then being revised again and then suddenly appear as having shipped before that delay date is reached. Bottom line is, they're guessing and taking a risk on that not angering people. And Gibbo so far has posted mostly reliable information because he's doing it once orders have been confirmed, usually the day before they ship.
The silly thing is that if they did just guess or give people updates every day, they'd still complain. The complaints would be all the updates say "nothing has changed", and that a load of the estimates based on guesses were wrong.
If it helps people I could set up an automated email which checks for updates from Gibbo and all the days he doesn't get one it simply emails you to say there's been no change yet. Better yet I can let you pick the frequency so you can have them sent every hour, that way you can not be moving in the queue, but now in high resolution
hope you get your MIR scan soon and maybe some form of treatment/ relief, being ill is *****, believe me i have an illness also, nothing can be done and sometimes its anything to take your mind off it, keep your chin up, let's hope all this fu!k up is fixed in the near future

It's a strange practice to build up a good customer base over the years with healthy google reviews to then see that plummet over a singular item and lose many loyal customers. Maybe they have so many they don't care.
