NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080Ti to be "available" on June 3rd, RTX 3070Ti on June 10th

I think you need 1000 posts and also been a member for at least 6 months, pretty sure i read that in one of the threads
yep though this has been going on longer than 6 months, hence did mention, but 6 months and 1k posts doesnt make you a gamer. i be surprised if they blacklisted user names or address from last MM offer.

I regret not buying a 3090 or 6900 at launch. Hahaha could have would have should have.

Mate i remember ages ago a guy selling a lightly used top of the line gaming PC with a 3080 or 3090 ( cant remember ) for just over 2K.
Every part was top notch stuff, you dont know at the time though. You imagine things would improve a lot by now but it has got worse.

On a positive note, we have Battlefield 2042 coming.
Not positive really, absolutely not worth it, like £50 to £100 depending on what version you get, and no single player campaign, did they not learn from the first starwars battlefront game, people want a campaign, especially for this price.

I mean compared to the price of GPUs. I'd say it's fair trade. GMG 12% off and I'm going to play with my mates. More about the laughs and multiplayer than anything else to be honest.

Yeh deffo cheap compared to gpu's, but cmon stupid price for a online only game, especially when there so many great free online games to play with mates, oh and i buy all the BF games so do my mates, and were all ****** about the pricing and the fact no campaign, BF and COD campaigns are usually great.

Lol, I'm not waiting 21 years for a computer game. Mind you, I may be able to get a 30 series GPU by then.

Guess it depends on how much time you can sink into it to extract that value provided the multiplayer is good enough. Risks of preordering. Now when a game starts at £60.00 for the standard version...Dying Light 2... well.

And I just saw the price of the 6700 XT GPUs.... what happened. £800.00...\_O_o_/

Probably why there are 400 of them available.

3080 really has shown to be the sweet spot £/FPS for gaming even if if the rrp is not realistic
It probably feels like that because the faster cards cost a LOT more money, but if you're talking pure £/FPS there will be 'better value' cards at the lower end of the market. e.g. it's about 50% more fps than the 3060Ti (give or take), but costs 75% more.

I heard that their address check is pretty much a manual process. I can't say for sure but it wouldn't surprise me.
But the key part that you might not grasp is that these scalper collectives have hundreds of "patsies" who allow them to use their details in exchange for a fee, so each bot can have countless different addresses to use.

They have collectives? Because of course they have.

I guess part of the problem is that it doesn't matter to store bottom lines if everything is sold to scalpers. Sold is sold, maybe some shops like OCUK care but I'm not sure it's something many vendors are willing to sink money on to actually implement sophisticated systems. Plus you could easily run afoul of GDPR if you start keeping large databases of addresses and credit card details without consent..

Still no 3070Ti FE appearing on the famous auction site, that I can see. So number of FEs sold yesterday must have been in single digits, if at all?
Only one 3070Ti sold on the famous auction site yesterday and it was an EVGA one, no FE ones (if im doing the search right)
Is anyone still clicking on refresh for the FE?

coming from a 1080ti and running at 4k I find it hard to drop to 8GB ram. I know 3070 ti would be faster but not all games have upscaling etc yet Requirements are only going up. 3080 really has shown to be the sweet spot £/FPS for gaming even if if the rrp is not realistic. On the other hand if i can upgrade for minimal cost after selling the 1080ti it may be worth it as a stop gap to a 4080 or whatever.. . don't have the 1000 posts though so have to hope my position in the 3080 order q is worth something.

a sad state of affairs when an etailer cant sell there products because of the bots and scalpers. :(
I have a 1080ti and I didn't buy a 3080 because it has less VRAM, I knew the 3080ti would have more VRAM, I guessed it would have 16GB but it actually has the same as the 1080ti, obviously it's not all about VRAM but I do think it's a bit odd. I'm starting to lean towards a 3090 now instead of the 3080ti.

The 3080ti doesn't have the same amount of vram as 1080ti.
