Definitely this. Don't just look at the number before the wattage, quality is everything and it is best to have more in reserve. I wouldn't go with less than a quality Gold+ 850W for a 3090.I've seen 750W crap out with 3080 and 700W fail with 3070 so don't get too overconfident about that statement. Quality is everything when the graphics cards are so prone to power spikes
Well im running a 3090 perfectly fine on my SF750, with 11 fans and soon to be watercooled.Definitely this. Don't just look at the number before the wattage, quality is everything and it is best to have more in reserve. I wouldn't go with less than a quality Gold+ 850W for a 3090.
I've powered my 3090 with a 650W PSU but it is definitely not something that I'd recommend 24/7.Well im running a 3090 perfectly fine on my SF750, with 11 fans and soon to be watercooled.
I've not looked in there but maybe this thread will have some info about it: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/forums/threads/voucher-code-deals-concept-plan.18924174/@Gibbo any new plans for gpu codes again, also not seeing the gpu deals section considering i should be well above the criteria?

Duh, a 3080 cooler on a Ti, not shocked at all. All reviews have said it runs hot and loud.Got my 3080ti FE today, plugged it in, got a copy of Cyberpunk, and genuinely suprised at how loud the fans run under load. It reminds me of my PS4 when it's having a bit of a hard time under the telly.

My 3090 is actually not too loud under load, It's a little louder than the AIO 1080ti I had in there previously so for an air cooled card I'm quite surprised. I've not looked into it but apparently the 3080 & 3090 coolers are different though.Got my 3080ti FE today, plugged it in, got a copy of Cyberpunk, and genuinely suprised at how loud the fans run under load. Perhaps I was expecting too much, not sureMy 3090 is actually not too loud under load, It's a little louder than the AIO 1080ti I had in there previously so for an air cooled card I'm quite surprised. I've not looked into it but apparently the 3080 & 3090 coolers are different though.
Sure thing. I'll pop one up tomorrowMy PS4 pro used to do the same was horrendous with noise, maybe post a video so we can see I was hoping for a 3080ti but don’t know if I can handle that whirlwind when gaming
My previous card was a 1030 with passive cooling, so consider me sheltered.Duh, a 3080 cooler on a Ti, not shocked at all. All reviews have said it runs hot and loud.
I've always steered away from FE cards in the past because they've always been hot and loud but didn't really have much choice this time around. Definitely glad I got the 3090 because I'm used to almost silent PC's.
Try a GTX 480 SLI, that rig was badass though. My radeon VII was dumb loud too.I've always steered away from FE cards in the past because they've always been hot and loud but didn't really have much choice this time around. Definitely glad I got the 3090 because I'm used to almost silent PC's.

The Ti has the same TDP as the 3090 but uses the same cooler as the 3080. Not a great plan as it has to deal with an extra 30W.Got my 3080ti FE today, plugged it in, got a copy of Cyberpunk, and genuinely suprised at how loud the fans run under load.
Around an extra kilo of metal.I've not looked into it but apparently the 3080 & 3090 coolers are different though.
You want to try Undervolting as you can shave off nearly 10C and 100w with minimal performance loss.Got my 3080ti FE today, plugged it in, got a copy of Cyberpunk, and genuinely suprised at how loud the fans run under load.
