Well, they'll be RRP for the FE models from Nvidia which will available for 5 minutes or so. Maybe. These will be selling for over 2 grand. The RRP is irrelevant, shops will overprice as normal.

Exactly, with FE cards people can make hundreds just flipping them directly to CEX (and hence avoiding the risks associated with selling to private buyers). The problem is even other gamers I talk to have said at the profit for selling they would be tempted if they managed to snag a card.
Components are a shocking price too though. Apparently, the price of some VRM chips has gone through the roof - from $0.70 each last year now at $70.00 per chip.
Nvidia surely makes a serious loss at MSRP for FE but they're committed to sticking to their promise.
I think he meant 10x increase in vrm component price. So $7 each. Which is right I.C components are seeing a 10x price increase for some parts.Vrm is not $70 per chip lmao, that would make even an mid range mobo or gpu cost $$500usd just in vrm

Those will end up on Ebay with scalpers also, what's crazy is the retailers are scalping even more so. Crazy times.
Well m8 at least it forces you to use the same card for more than a couple of months
(yes I'm nearly as bad!!!)

If VRM chips are going for that much then why haven't motherboards gone up?.
He says it at 38 minutes 53 seconds
It would explain why a 3080 costs over $1500 instead of $649

I don't think retailers are getting as much, the manufacturers are just charging a lot more on top as well. Those will end up on Ebay with scalpers also, what's crazy is the retailers are scalping even more so. Crazy times.

Is it even confirmed they will be doing an FE model for the 3080ti? Doubt it will be LHR if they do.
It'll be gone in seconds.
We've been reading the same rumours. Will be an interesting June for gaming, with this card release and E3 coming up.
It leaves gamers where it has left them for the past nine months, up a certain creek without a certain tool.
