I haven't done my new built yet for that very reason, my current build pairs perfectly with my 1080ti so I'm not wasting money building a new system if I can't hold of the GPU first. By the time I can get a GPU the current top CPUs will be obsolete.
Dunno how many times I need to say this. There's no reliable protection against bots, Cloudflare & Captcha can be fooled. If bot traffic could be blocked then none of your stock monitor/discord/drop notification tools would work either. I guarantee that they've sold most of their stock to bots, that's the current reality of etail.
The biggest issue is that in the same time that you've seen that stock notification, there'll be some auto-buy bots that have seen it, added to basket and checked out multiple times using different logged addresses. If that truly is the case then our only hope of getting a card at a reasonable price is you guys doing another forum deal.
we didn't launch, we know that we can't weed out the bots and we're sick of feeding ebay, CEX & Facebook marketplace
