Traditionally NVIDIA has sold the FE models for the entirety of the series life time. I see no indication that they would cease that practice now as they are selling every card they produce and very quickly.

TechRader has alerts AFAICS as I seen one on my phone (when you right swipe screen and get the news etc, it was for the place that does the Nvidia FE in UK and was only for the 3090 this time but it has since sold out.
This was posted 24 hours ago so may be worth saving the sites link and keeping an eye on on 3000 stock series news.

FE have always been better quality than AB, even their Bios clock per clock was faster on 1080Ti FE as I tried all the AB bioses and scores dropped (same with all users on the overclock.net forums massive thread).

Just the fact AB had 2/3 fans blowing air all over your case meant they could cool the GPU better (not rest of your rig).

The 3000 FE's are kind of a hybrid in that the cooler VRam side blows air up to your CPU cooler but the hotter Core part is still blowing outside cases rear I/O.

I was in position 100 the week before and on Friday after 50+ came in that week I am in position 70. So

• Either all the units were not shipped and @pkealy should be due to get one anytime
• The shipment was less than 50
• There was a large number of RMA ones that got allocated out first

Based on my number @pkealy could be 12th on the list now and would hopefully get one on the next shipment.

I've been checking the store page however it is still out of stock and can't be pre-ordered. Are these cards now in stock or can I join a que to buy one?

Put it this way, with no OC just power temp slider I get 2100mhz at 55-60 degrees.

Absolutely no point in AIB cards that are 300 to 500 pounds more expensive.

Anyone spending £1400 plus on these cards are crazy imo. I'm lucky I've only spent £1000 on my 3090 FE after I sold my first 3090 Fe to some clown on ebay for £1800

It's all perspective though. If you have a lot of money this doesn't seem like much. These cards cost as much as a really decent gaming rig and they cater to a certain audience. I don't think coming here and pointing out the high prices is going to do anything, it's like walking into a Mercedes dealership and telling people they're crazy to buy a Merc.

With regards to the higher end cards which cost more. There's some nice GPU blocks for these cards that have the ports on the top instead of the end and the cards are longer for a (in my opinion) nicer aesthetic. We also get the normal power connectors which lends itself to nice thick cables. Is all that worth the extra £200-£600 over the FE? well I don't know but there's certainly a point to not getting the FE for people who want certain things the AIB's are offering.

I wouldn't recommend Palit, my friend got a Palit 1060 back in the day and he had extremely poor performance with it and it was just overall a terrible experience for him. go for Asus or MSI or Gigabyte.

LOL... They are the best aib cards (componets wise but built better than the strix with its plastic shroud, the gamerock is metal) after the the strix .. Gamerocks this generation have some of the best components on them and build quality. Do your research before righting a card off..

also have 4 of them now 3090s 2 oc models and 2 standard, 2 in sli on main rig one sat in HTPC and one waiting for a new build not opened yet.

1 of the none oc flashed with oc bios and work just as the oc models.

What are people's views on the Palit Gamerock 3090 OC? I am not a massive fan of the aesthetics but seems to be rated from what I've seen. I would eventually want to get it under water anyway if a block is ever released for it. Not sure whether to pick one of those up whilst they are in stock instead of waiting for a Strix OC (which I haven't ordered yet so could be a while...)

amazing cards.. I thought same about their aesthetics until I got my first one and its nothing like the pictures, they are solid built and even the lighting is nice and I hate RGB. I now own 4 3090s GameRocks 2 oc (in SLI on main rig) and 2 none oc, one none oc flashed with oc Vbios (HTPC) and works great like an oc model. One waiting for a new build or may make another SLI rig and take the one out of the HTPC and stick a 2080ti in there or a 3070.
