** NVIDIA GTX 1080 FOUNDERS EDITION: WANNA PRE-ORDER?

I have decided I am going to get a couple of Hybrids if/when they are released if they are under £700. Currently to drive a ROG Swift, but with the intent of driving a superwide or perhaps a 4K at some point.

Can't be bothered with hassle of putting full-cover blocks on and am probably going to remove all my custom loop and just get a AIO for my cpu as well.

It looks horrific

Have OCUK said when we may expect the non-FE cards to be available for sale?

It sounds like tomorrow, but later in the day or early?

I said I would not get an FE for £620 and I stick by that, but tempted by the EVGA FTW 1080 :)

FTW will be in the range of £620-675 probably.

I think non-FE cards will either be available starting tomorrow or a week or two from now. I think the latter. Maybe they'll be available to start pre-ordering tomorrow?

I am confident that tomorrow OcUK shall have the best range of 1080's online worldwide, I am going for no.1 worldwide with 1080 product range. :)

Looking at all these picture leaks, it seems quite a few of the custom cards have single 8-pin, same as the FE. This is interesting, and perhaps offers a hint at price. If they don't actually perform THAT much better than the FE, it's quite possible they could come in on the cheaper end (still around £575-625 though). This will be offset by the likes of the EVGA FTW (and similar offerings from other AIB's) with an extra power connector providing superior performance than the FE but at a higher price (£650+). I have a feeling this may be how things unfold, and there will be something for a range of budgets. However, anyone with only £550 or so to spend will more than likely have nothing to choose from other than a rubbish blower design like the psycho blue clown Galax we've seen.

Oh no you didn't just confirm we'll be getting more than reference cards tomorrow? if that's the case I'll be buying! and I'll be traveling 70 miles there and 70 miles back to pick it up :D the things you do for the things your passionate about :p

That's fine, just want it now. I am over my 960 side card.

Looking for some quality build underneath, even the Zotac looks beefy, dislike the backplate though, yellow :(
