that's the reason I will only buy EVGA the premium is worth the warranty for waterblocks

Did some DOOM benchmarks today the highlight was:
4k
980Ti EVGA SC
1080 FE
Both stock clocks, though 980Ti is clocked out the box, still the 1080 was 50% quicker at 4k, 60fps for FE 1080 and 40fps for 980Ti SC.
I was shocked by how much quicker the 1080 is at QHD and UHD.

Mmmm, same. Although I won't be able to look at the front side of the GPU, awful looking imho
. The back looks nice though.Shows you how well the founders "trick" has worked - we now think £560 is good when the dollar conversion from the non founder cards msrp should be pretty much exactly £500
So is the FE with boost running.
Then again I'm sure the advantage in doom would have whittled away had you played for more than 10 minutes as the "all show no go" pos stock cooler got overwhelmed

Quite possibly, he did have a zotac fail edition on his desk the other day he pictured so i assume it was that card.
Presumably as that seems to be when nda number 2766 of this launch expires.

What about the non FE?
does that go for waterblocks as well? I was hoping to grab one from EK tonight rather than try and buy from 2 shops at once at 2pm
More than likely. If ocuk are going live with them at 2pm tomorrow it must be in effect for all stores.
