** NVIDIA GTX 1080 FOUNDERS EDITION: WANNA PRE-ORDER?

What a joke was on website from 2pm till now and absolutely no way of getting a card site keep looping and then I find an email at 1.14 saying they was available? So I purposely went elsewhere just because they could have handled the whole preorder process better. I have always gone through ocuk but after this may think twice about it in the future and got the card cheaper.

cards are always worth half what you paid over the course of about 9 months give or take.... you can live your life waiting or just get on with gaming

I don't quite know why people think they are "smart" for depriving themselves of fun and enjoyment... you can't take it with you!

FTW ordered, but I might change that depending on reviews - I have the 980ti Strix and the 1080 Strix is only £10 more

Those MSI prices though

Yeah but its not life changing over a 980ti

Think I'll wait for the 1070 and see what prices they are....maybe get another in SLI

I'm not spending 600 quid on a 1080 for me to lose so much when the 1080ti comes.

The prices of these will drop very soon I imagine...1070 can be my stopgap card I think.

I game less over the summer...So I'm glad I sold my 980ti for the price I paid.

When the dust settles in a week or so after you've clocked them I'll check the real world gains then....

Goes off into my studio to write a song....Next time your spell will catch me.

That's exactly how Nvidia want you to feel. Like you got a deal when in reality you didn't.

Indeed and I must say I do commend them on their business strategy. Sucks for us end users, great for their pockets. I expected the FTW to come in at more then FE prices considering the extra power pin and what looks like a wider and beefier PCB with SC similar or slightly lower the FE prices. the fact most are coming under is a present surprise (in the scheme of things)

Picking a pair of these FE cards up, I pocketed some cash from when I sold my Titan X's which went for £725 a piece so cant complain. Know I will sell these for when the Titan Pascal rear's its heads (Yes I am a sucker :( )

GTX 1080 EVGA FTW ordered. Can't believe I bought it. My last expensive card I'll buy I think. This will do me for a few years. Not really interested in 1080 Ti model. That will cost nearly a £1000 I gather.

i ordered the MSI GTX Gaming X and yes that is the most I will probably ever spend on a graphics card. I forsee it lasting ages hopefully. The pricing on the Ti is sure to be painfull. prepare your butts. :p

End of the day they cranked up the prices stupidly, some people thought under £600 for a 980Ti was stupidly expensive last year.. these regular 1080's getting on for 700 some of them.

When you consider you can get a used 980Ti for 200 quid or so cheaper and is only 10-20% slower when overclocked.. bit of a joke.

Ok boys, back to the price whinging now, I am off to play The Division on my super slow Titan X whilst waititng for my EVGA FTW to arrive :p

I honestly don't know if I just bought 2 cards or not. My order does say 'In Progress' I guess ill have to wait a while and find out

Check your e-mails will show you how many you ordered. Or you can go to my account and look on the order tab and it says quantity ordered.

Nice:D

I was going to wait for the 1070, but just sold my 970 for £210 so thought what the hell went for the 1080. That'll do me for a few years. Not really interested in 1080 Ti. I bet it's near a £1000. Too much for me.

Ordered 2 EVGA 1080 FE's and blocks and backplates from elsewhere. Far too slow and £619.

Due today so hopefully should have them on monday at the latest.

I expected the AIB cards to be more expensive. Some are a good deal there are a few at £650 though.

None at the magical 2ghz boost clock though. All seem to be around 1800. So pretty much the 2.5ghz is a no go.

Anyone that had a Ti and just bought a 1080 and gets them tomorrow or went to the shop and had them. Please let me know if its a worthy jump.

I'm kinda doubting my purchase a little bit and thinking it may not be worth it. Would love to hear some feedback before my order gets sent out tomorrow or monday.
