No. We will receive stock on the 6th due to the bank holiday delaying couriers and freight forwarders so customers should expect them Wednesday.

think i'm gonna wait until the dust settles with these to find out which is the best to go with and sell my 5850 to fund it. sick to death of ATI's awful driver support and utterly pants performance in CAD and general 2D uses (which is my main use for any card). nvidia might be well overpriced but i'd rather pay more for something that actually functions.

Everybody knows that Nvidia is superior for CAD, ATI are currently designed for gaming.

As for drivers issues, there is none! I could sit here all day and mention how both companies have had bad support at some point.

I called because i was curious as to which pre order might be sold out and have been told they've been put back way beyond the 12th possibly the 19th or closer to the end of the month.
Will one of the Dons please confirm this so we dont all have to park our butts under the letterbox without good reason...thank you

Gives me chance to install my ridiculous 1200W Be Quiet! PSU in preparation. Also it would be nice to see some 470 SLi numbers before the hardware launches.

Allocation is so tight I can not even get samples. I am currently working on getting our hands on some 480 and 470 parts so that we can do some real world OcUK benchmarks.

The second wave of cards apparently is going to be quite significant. Will keep you updated with delivery times and stock position as and when I know them.

Am i able to cancel a pre-order?
It seems rather silly to pay the extra £50 to get it a week early ahead of other etailers.. When it now appears this is not the case.
