NVIDIA GTX 400 SERIES GRAPHICS CARD LAUNCH

10% faster if that compared to a stock HD5870 and quite a bit more expensive and runs a lot hotter and takes far more power.

and the GTX470 don't ask however it does over clockwell but its priced about the same as the HD5870 and goes about the same as a HD5850

Is it worth holding off on the preorder OCUK guys or should i go ahead?

I don't want to preorder the Asus one then find you get another manufacturer in earlier! I'll be getting mine from you regardless.

Thanks

While thats true the GTX 4** unfortunately are the only cards that offer all the options i.e. DX11, CUDA, Physx etc

Thats why I'm still getting one even though its a pretty raw deal!

If your not bothered about being able to have every last option turned on in a game then go with the HD 5870.

you can turn every last option on but PhysX on the 5870. and PhysX looks like a waste of time.

Not physx or CUDA, if you've played just cause 2 with CUDA you wont think its a waste of time. But as i say thats only if you really care about that stuff. I'm one of the ones that does is all.

Ive got Just Cause 2 and am waiting for my beast to arrive before playing it
I did think it was a bit strange the money was taken out of my account before it was shipped? Is this normal?
