NVIDIA GTX 970 OWNERS THREAD

Did some Heaven 4.0 benchmarks (MSI Gaming Edition):

Stock (1316MHz), +100 (1416MHz), +150 (1466MHz), +200 (1516MHz). No extra voltage.

Highest temperature so far was 68°, and the card still very quiet at 54% speed.

Not touched the memory yet.

The +200 overclock is 4 points below the 1509 I got with GTX 780 with clocks 1241/1782.

Can see why these MSI cards are flying out the doors, seem to be great clockers, must be a good batch.
 
It's a nice improvement...

Couldn't reach any higher since my screen started flashing a black-green square pattern on 3DMark with this OC. Is 12165 graphics on 3DMark any good? Never really overclocked before.

I just installed mine and its fantastic. I just chucked 1500/8000 at it as per Gibbo's test and it sat there lookin at me saying "Is that all you got thats nuthin I aint breakin' a sweat".

Yeah I was surprised when it spoke too.
As mentioned only once before you get a free mouse mat.....
and two packs of Haribo.

A bit strange to see it sat idle at 45c and 1rpm on the fan speed. (dont think Afterburner can do 0rpm) Previously it would have been ---PANIC---

It is supposed to boost to 1253mhz but boosts to 1304mhz on core.

Guys I have just realized my new Mobo only does 8x8 in SLI mode... do you think this will have any performance impact running two 970's in SLI?

I am quite surprised a Z97 chipset board wont do 16x16
