Boost clock goes up to 1316MHz and sits silent at 65°. As expected really, the MSI coolers have always been good, remember my GTX670 was excellent. Then again Asus Direct CUII was excellent too .
I'll run it for a while, maybe a night of gaming at stock speeds and see how it performs compared to 780. I did have my 780 running at 1174MHz so a bit of an overclock over stock 780.
I like how it clocks itself even lower at idle, 135MHz. 780 sat at around 330MHz if I remember. Although perhaps overclocking increases minimum idle clocks.
Streaming has improved. Although at first I forgot to set one of new NVENC presets in OBS and it looked exactly the same as 780 . Setting High Quality Low Latency (2pass) and the quality of stream is quite a lot better. Far less pixelation on movement. Shame nothing uses the H.265 encoder. Hopefully something will soon.
If it does perform as well as my 780 or better, using less power, and with much better streaming quality and the other new features, I shall be happy .
