Looking forward to seeing what real users can do with their cards :)

I hope to get 3 x EVGA Classified if they are available while I am away next month, if not I will just grab three of whatever and hope for the best!

Real users? You mean your every day folk or benching maniacs? I'm sure the former outweighs the latter :p

Hah, anyone that isn't running a review site or retail outlet.

No matter how random the silicone is that they use, you can't beat seeing some user results.

Will be good to see what these do on water also.

Got today Inno3D 980 from overclockers, nicely done chaps, after long wait it's much appreciated to get hands on one of those beauties on day of release, upgraded from 580 and going to test it in some games I like ;)

So tempted to pick up 3 of these and send back my 295x2 and 290X. Would cost me an extra £300 or so though.

Does 178 TDP mean that it uses 178W? If so it'd be easy to get 3 of these in SLI without PSU issues.
I do have to wonder though, if the TDP is so low and the 970 is using a short PCB do Nvidia have another full length card up their sleeves with a higher TDP? This generations 780/Titan if you will.

Talking of SLI, do these still require SLI bridges or do they have an Nvidia form of XDMA?

EDIT:
I am a little worried how the stock cooler would perform with 3 cards next to each other.

Bridge still required :(

When I had my 3 Titans on air, the stayed below 80 with the fan set to 80%

Hope this helps.

The fans on the EVGA 980's is very quiet compared to the original Titan :)

Been having a few issues since installation but I'm sure Nvidia will be on it quickly enough.

Games seem to be "losing focus" randomly. Locking up for a bit, minimising to desktop and in the case of Rocksmith going into slowmo.

When we tested yesterday we were noticing some stutters in SLI, this could just be an extension of that. Might disable SLI tmrw and see if the issues continue.

How much of a staff discount did you get if you don't mind me asking ?
