That'll be the old weak dollar rate trick, it goes up when its weak and everything is affected immediately, but never returns or even as quick when its strong. Bit like petrol and the price of oil.

At that price buying the cheapest 980 reference and oc'ing becomes more viable or the G1.

That's why I'm waiting. I might skip the 900 series altogether. I'm hoping for a dual gpu or a full fat. Only have a small build and need the most powerful card. prices are a bit daft right now. I have a enough to get a full fat when ever it comes?

For an air cooler, that is pretty slick looking. Nice one and less pics and more benches (pics after).

Does that cooler also run in passive mode when it's just in Windows or low power games? Thing I really like about the MSI TwinFrozr V cooler is that none of the 2 fans spin until you start pushing the card in a game. They won't even spin up until a certain temp and only then 1 might spin up depending on what part of the card is hot.

Such a silent cooler even when gaming! Also excellent cooling. 15-20 degrees cooler under load than reference
