I also see that the 780Ti price has been announced, $700 ($200 higher than the 780 so prob £150). They must have confidence in it to price it $150 higher than the 290x

Its 30% more expensive than GTX 780, but its not 30% faster!
Well it is maybe 30% faster if you take a bone stock GTX 780 base on its stock boost speeds, but compared to OC GTX 780's it is not 30% quicker.
But at least we shall be able to sell it for £499 - £549 which was the price target we wanted to hit.

It be a brave man to buy an Nvidia GPU on release, the 780 has been out three months and then bam $150 knocked off and three free games booted in with the card.
How much profit are Nvidia making on these cards when they can afford to knock off $150 and throw games at it, massive price gouging going on right there and we the consumer allow it.

Windforce is probably the best air cooler there is. Stock Titan-esque cooler looks nice but isn't amazing performance.
Their blocks are pretty crap.

I think gfx cards maker shaft their customers royally I bought one of these cards in august and now its over 100 pounds cheaper and comes with more games 
Looks like it was worth waiting. Just a little longer now for the 290 release. Need non ref coolers on the 290/290x now though and AMDs game bundle i think. any idea when they will be released?

Gibbo, the 780 Windforce cards you'll be getting in, do you know which revision they are as it seems that the Rev2 ones aren't reference design (so don't have waterblocks)?
Alternatively, the Gainward Phantoms apparently use the EK Jetstream 780 waterblock, do you know if you'll be getting these in?
