** NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES (3090 / 3080 / 3070) NOW ONLINE AT OcUK **

I gave them a call yesterday regarding my aorus extreme 3090 being 13th in the queue.. The guy on the phone said that they get deliveries daily roughly 10 cards.. They dont know when the supplier is sending and wich one..he said roughly 2 more weeks for mine...

Is there any way to get a rough idea of how long the queue is for a specific card at the moment? I'm interested in the ASUS 3080 TUF primarily but I'm hesitant to put an order in blind and might consider another card like the Gaming X Trio if the queue is significantly shorter.

The TUF has a que of well over 1000 I asked on about the 20th and it was over a 1000 then, it's one of the most popular cards. I'm not sure on other cards but I'd assume the ques are fairly long across the board. The more expensive cards may have slightly smaller ques but I wouldn't bet on it.

I had a feeling it would be a popular one. I might see if I can get a rough idea on the MSI RTX 3080 Gaming X Trio when their customer services is open tomorrow. I don't want to spend double on a 3090 just to get a card faster, so I might just have to be patient with this one. Thanks for the response :).

So can someone inquire about queues on specific models? I might be tempted to get in queue for a board but I definitely would not get in a queue of 1000s. Interested in 3090. Want to use it for work.

I'm going to give it a go with customer services tomorrow, if they are able to help me I'll let you know. But I'm looking at the 3080 not 3090, I imagine the 3090 queues will be much shorter than the 3080's.

So which one is correct:
a) Queue updates are received on a weekly basis, meaning we should receive the e-mail today
b) Queue updates are received upon queue changes, meaning if I don't get it today no cards of the brand/model I have purchased were shipped this week.

Based on updates here on the forums, I got the impression it is b), but I am not sure anymore.

The Queue updates are being done via Email only and will only be sent out once stock of cards have been received/dispatched. The email will also include your updated queue position taking into account the people who are now cancelling because of the long waiting times

Customer Services at Overclockers are not responding to customers asking about their Queue positions and will simply tell you that you will receive an email update as soon as one is available

I posted here about the Asus Rog Strix, I spoke to Customer services today, the realistic wait for me and others who have ordered the 3080 Rog Strix are next year

I spoke to Overclockers this morning and was told if I order a 3080 now (any model) then I wouldn't get it before January to February

Wow that sucks, that's going to give the scalpers an easy ride selling cards over Christmas... I don't think they're going to have much trouble anyway though. I saw one one ebay the other day that was a purchase from this site, I could tell because they mentioned getting their que position the same day we all did... So I had thier que number and card, I really wanted to tell overclockers but I doubt they're in a position to do much about it. It is entirely legal after all...
