** NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES (3090 / 3080 / 3070) NOW ONLINE AT OcUK **

I just got my shipping email for the ventus 3X OC 3080
Was 17th in the Q this morning
Nice one! Please let us know what you think of it when it arrives, haven't been able to find any reviews for it online.

Edit: I have just managed to find a review, of sorts, and it contains some interesting information as far as undervolting etc. goes. Might be worth a read for you, and others, with the Ventus.

How does the pre-ordering work?!
Do they charge you and then you have to wait in the queue or do they only charge you only after your order (stock) is secured and ready to be processed?

yes mate, they charge your card and take payment in advance then you have to wait for a que position which will be sent to you via email and updated on a weekly basis

That sounds about right. But we have no way of knowing beforehand what kind of queue different cards have, right? I expect EVGA or Asus to be in higher demand.

correct, but I very much doubt ordering now for most if not all the que positions there all pretty huge,so either way our gonna be in for a long wait,on the plus side when you get your position in que you can always cancel your purchase if you feel its just to big a que

I think the queue updates will be after each new shipment of the card you ordered has been booked in and sent. That's the only time your position will change.

Exactly, and to be honest, if your going to show off & sell your newest tech to the world the one big let down for the consumers that want to get there hands on them is not having enough & also making them wait for weeks on end, that's not a good demonstation of a company, we are all in the same boat though, & will be happy er soon enough....!

You are kidding, having high demand for a product is perfect for a business.

They hype and FOMO created with this launch is perfect for the manafacturers, look at this board at the desperation of people to have a graphics card upgrade :)

Its not unusual either, try to order a PS5 now, its the same thing.

Gibbo: We shipped a small amount of the following RTX 3080 cards to customers yesterday. MSI Ventus 3X OC, Gigabyte Aorus Master, Gigabyte Vision OC, Gigabyte Gaming OC, Asus TUF Gaming OC. The following small amount of RTX 3090 cards also shipped to customers yesterday. Asus TUF Gaming OC and MSI Ventus 3X OC.

Wait what?

How SMALL an amount? The email said I was 3rd in the queue for a Gigabyte Gaming OC and I've had nothing shipped so how many shipped, 2?

The eagle was one of the most purchased card with the Asus tuf, yet I have not seen a single update on their stock, are they just not making this cards?:D

Yeah it's concerning. I actually thought had an MSI Ventus in my basket - it's what I was aiming for - but somehow ended up with a Gigabyte Eagle instead. I'm fine with that except that they don't seem to be sending any to Overclockers!

I think the Eagles have been suspended due to the power connector issue. Not 100% though.

Oh no! I haven't heard of this anywhere else in the news - are we sure it's a general problem or maybe just some bad QA on a couple cards?

It doesn't appear to be an issue on every card, I know 2 people who have a Gaming OC and an Eagle OC and everything seems ok with their cards, they checked out the pins when they saw this and all seems ok.

Sounds like the issue is resolved in new parts though so that's good. I don't really buy this change causing a delay based on the thread.
