I ordered at 17.37 on the 17th and am 463 in the queue. Just hoping that the production and distribution speeds up real soon.
 
ah you guys are lucky, ordered mine the day the 3090 was released after naively thinking id get a 3090 on launch day. Thing is i havent got time to wait , i got a grade 4 astrocytoma and im losing use of the right side of my body. fingers crossed they get a huge shipment in quickly. im 804 in the queue
 
Gibbo: Speaking to all board partners production volumes are expecting to ramp up towards end of the end of this month meaning deliveries arriving later this month should be a little better volume wise towards end of October with November increasing again.

I managed to preorder a Zotac Trinity 3080 for £689.99, was drawn in by the 5 year warranty.
Obviously, the ASUS TUF seems to be the top card at the lower price range with better cooling, performance and reliability than the Zotac. Anyone reckon 3080's and specifically the TUF model will drop anywhere near £689 again?
 
Gigabyte doesn't seem to be mass producing much. They hyped yup for a long time the US launch of the Aorus Master and when it launched there was only something like 30 units available a the website they were hyping like crazy. of course the PR guy gave the wrong link and before it went live botters managed to discover the correct link and well I think everyone knows how that went.

My question; what is an "OK amount"? are we talking 100+ because they have been small amounts for others on there, so this has to be more than that? Give us some actual figures guys, c'mon.

50 to 100 iirc.

I'm hoping that when the Gigabyte stock starts coming in then it will be the slow freight shipping and come in some volume!

I got my original email with my queue placement (463) I'm sure they said that they would update us regularly, but when is "regular"; weekly, monthly? In my opinion it should be at least weekly, maybe even everytime they dispatch stock of that specific card.
