** NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES NOW ONLINE AT OVERCLOCKERS UK (3090 / 3080 / 3070) **

Nvidia would be idiots to have a £650 card completely ruin what left of the 2080ti sales. I'm just not seeing it I think this is going to be a case where on paper doesn't tell the whole story but if I'm wrong, no bother I'll just grab the 3080 anyway haha. I'll prob have to upgaode my board and processor too, I've rinced this processor and it's been stupid value so hoping I'd get away with it for a little while.

Digital foundry got a hands on in a number of modern games both with and without RTX features and in most games the 3080 was 70-80% better at 4k than the 2080. At the lowest it was 60% better. 2080ti has nowhere near that kind of lead over the 2080. I see no real reason to doubt it.

Am going with a 3090 after a few reviews are out , as like all ways there will be a ti or super off the 3070 and 3080 in like 6 months, cannot see the 3090 getting a ti or super .....

I would get the Founders Edition 3090 , but my head is saying the cooling fan at back is going to blow LOADS of hot air at my cpu and MB ...... could be wrong ....
actually considerinf FE cause of it. As I'm running external radiator so whole case is for gpu cooing in my case :D

I think at this stage there is no doubt whether the 3080 will beat the 2080ti. Even on paper the specs beat it in every way. At worst it will be slightly better. But it will likely be somewhat better.

The Digital foundry video showed it being from 60 to 100% faster than 2080 that is 30% slower than a 2080ti, this in games with no DLSS or RT. The 3080 will crush the 2080ti and the 3070 will be slightly faster. Turing is now a bad purchase.

no thats what they need to do if they want me to buy gpu instead of console simple

It's very rare to get such a massive jump but it's been done before. 3080 walks all over the 2080 so the 3080 should be a good 50% faster than a 2080 Ti which is insane, even the 3070 should be trading blows with the 2080 Ti

Ampere is making Turing look like the FX gen of cards :D

It will probably end up around 25-30% more than the 2080ti once the proper Benchmarks are out but it's still decent for the price.

Crazy times, Suddenly 1080Tis, that have stubbornly been overpriced used have dropped significantly and now those who have 2070/2080/2080ti are getting ultra lowball offers :D

I'd be very surprised if they actually hit the shelves and online stores at the advertised prices from Nvidia though, I really do think they'll cost more..especially in the UK :D

3080 look ok for the price (£650) assuming deliver performance (RTX2080ti?).

What happened to all the RTX2080 Supers and RTX2080ti? Have they binned them rather than sensibly priced them? They done a Burberry?

Note- Don't worry, the prices will drop as the £ gets stronger. They always do....o hang on, my bad, they never change when £ gets stronger, they just get worse when the £ gets weaker. Thats better.

I notice that there are some 3080's for £850 and as low as £650. What is the actual difference? Are you paying extra for the brand name?
