There was an Asus rep here earlier. Perhaps he can offer an explanation for why the price on the non-OC has changed from £699 to £829 in the space of an hour.

They were obviously placeholder prices (guesstimates) and have been adjusted now that actual pricing has been given by the odm.

Strix with that £100+ premium. If you want a budget Asus you will have to go peasantry with the Tuf cards.

Also @ASUS GPU Support your company has a really ****-poor reputation when it comes to RMA's, hopefully you can assure the forum that things will get better and be more open.
Would have been interested in a Zotac 3080 or 3090 for warranty and past experience with their cards but won't fit in my case - my max is 309mm and their cards are 317.8mm 
I guess sensible thing to do is wait for 3080Ti or see what AMD do anyway...

Of course they were place holders, why would the strix premium cards be roughing it price wise with the tuf cards, always massive hikes on ROG stuff.
