To be fair I'm sure this is down to Asus' narcissism at setting their own price to make some statement as to being the best... shame they don't back it up with a 5 year warranty!

There was an Asus rep here earlier. Perhaps he can offer an explanation for why the price on the non-OC has changed from £699 to £829 in the space of an hour.

They were obviously placeholder prices (guesstimates) and have been adjusted now that actual pricing has been given by the odm.

Also @ASUS GPU Support your company has a really ****-poor reputation when it comes to RMA's, hopefully you can assure the forum that things will get better and be more open.
Would have been interested in a Zotac 3080 or 3090 for warranty and past experience with their cards but won't fit in my case - my max is 309mm and their cards are 317.8mm 
I guess sensible thing to do is wait for 3080Ti or see what AMD do anyway...
